Superb tour - A superb tour. Lots of travel time but you are travelling a huge distance to take part and witness an amazing side of Iceland. Waterfalls were stunning. Our favourite was our glacier hike. Guides were fantastic, knowledgable and good fun. Would highly recommend.

This tour is A Must do when you are in Iceland - This was the best tour! Our guide/driver Simon explained everything in detail and made our tour comfortable and fun. South coast was beautiful all the way, the scenery, waterfalls, Vik, Reynisfjara and finally the Glacier Hike. What a beautiful adventure this was for myself and my two kids 🥰

Glacier Hike, Black Sand Beach and Waterfalls southern tour - The experience was nice. The tour guide, Guillame was excellent. I did the hike to the glacier along with waterfalls and black sand beach tour. I learned that I am not in shape for such a hike. I'm 72 and I found it too taxing. I felt I was taking away from other's enjoyment because the pace had to be slowed for me. I'd suggest more clarity in the description that it can be exerting. But, the guide made sure everyone was having a good time. I'm only sorry that I didn't have more of a tip at the end to really compensate him. The black sand beach was a nice experience as was the waterfalls and seeing "E-15". I wouldn't dare try to spell it.

Unique Experience - We had a great time on this tour-Björgvin Hrafn was our driver and guide for all but the glacier hike and he was a great story teller. The tour had the right amount of stops with plenty of time to explore that we did not feel rushed and got to see enough to appreciate the beauty and diversity of Iceland. The only comment is that for the hike-you really need to wear good hiking boots with the boot going above your ankle - and the backing (the part above your heel) needs to be made from firm material. This is to ensure that the crampons are not injuring your heel/ankle. Waterproof hiking boots on the day we hiked were also a must. A few of us had the “wrong” hiking boots on but were able to rent them for a small fee so it not ended up being an issue.

Varied and interesting day - Really enjoyed the trip. We had a gorgeous blue sky day. We were picked up on time and Lili gave us loads of information throughout the day about the local area, and Icelandic culture etc. It was a shame the Black Sand beach had been washed away about two days before our trip but that's nature for you. We still got to view it at least. Loved the waterfalls - really epic, and the glacier hike was a highlight! It was Patrizia's first day and she did a brilliant job of kitting us out and taking us on the ice. We booked on this trip only the day before as the original company we booked with went out of business and we had a cancellation email from Viator the day before this trip, so a bit of a panic! Glad we found Arctic Adventures and would recommend.

Full day of sites and adventure made easy! - We had a terrific day seeing the stunning landscape of Iceland with Lili as our guide! She always kept us informed of where we were off to next and how long it would take, and made sure we were comfortable on the bus. She had plenty of interesting info and helpful tips for exploring Reykjavík, too. We saw so much in one day, but had enough time at each site and plenty of breaks. Loved it!
