We got to watch Dolphins and Minke Whales 🥰 - On the date of our original booking sea was rough so our booking was postponed. The boat was comfortable and everything well organised. Going far out we saw 3 dolphins, on our way back to the port we were very lucky to see some Minke whales very close to the port. My kids had a great time ☺️

Saw a humpback! - So glad we saw a whale! The boat ride was about 3 hours. Would recommend staying towards the front of the boat since the captain continuously moves boat so wild life is in front. Dress warm. ( inside cabin is perfectly comfortable to sit down). Beautiful scenery even without seeing a whale. Multiple restrooms on the boat was also a plus! Seasick tablets were also provided but not recommended for pregnant passengers or those under 12 (we did not need them). Kids under 12 are also required to wear life vests the entire time, which are provided as well.

Fin Whales in the bay - Wonderful to see two young Fin Whales 🐋 in their natural environment. Thanks to Joe being a friendly, knowledgeable guide. Definitely recommend.

Great experience - Guide was informative. Boat was comfortable. There are waterproof overalls on board and definitely recommend wearing them-kept us warm on the deck. We saw two humpbacks, super cute.

Amazing experience - We had a fantastic time. We saw 4 humpback whales which was absolutely amazing! I thought that we were given plenty of time to enjoy watching the whales, the guide was really informative. I also thought this was great value for money having seen similar experiences for higher prices.

Amazing! We’ll be back - The trip surpassed expectations, the boat was so comfortable and warm inside and the deck felt safe (if a bit windy!). Selina was so sweet and helpful, super friendly too! We saw apple and banana, a pair of humpbacks who are bonded - apparently incredibly rare for humpbacks. They choose to stay in the bay instead of travelling to find mates every winter, history will say they’re ’just good friends’ I’m sure ;)
I suffered from motion sickness and the staff gave me lots of help and a sickness tablet.
Wear WARM clothes and double gloves- you get very cold on deck where the best views are!

Perfect. - A magical moment, we could see the whales up close. The captain was very respectful of animals.
Also, we received an excellent welcome, there is the possibility to warm up inside and our guide was excellent.

Whale worth your time! - Great guide and crew! Fantastic "bad" weather including crazy winds and rain. Everything you really want from a whale watching boat adventure in Reykjavik (you can get warm inside with some hot chocolate if you need to). Got to see a couple of humpback whales. Check. Beautiful.

A disappointing experience not due to poor organization or the absence of whales, but purely because the seasickness - The most unpleasant experience. After a cancellation due to weather, we rebooked a whale watching tour, and the process was smooth and easy. The boat departed on time, and the guide was very informative and pleasant throughout the trip, making a real effort to keep everyone engaged. However, once we left the harbor, the sea was very rough, just as we had been warned. About 30 minutes into the trip, many passengers (including us) started feeling seasick. Even though we took the anti-nausea pills, by the time they worked, we had already missed the whales that others saw. We could only hear the guide describing them over the speakers. I briefly caught a glimpse of one, but that was it. Overall, it was not a disappointing experience due to poor organization or the absence of whales, but purely because the seasickness prevented us from enjoying the trip and fully appreciating these beautiful animals. So if you plan to go on such a trip in rough seas, make sure you take precautions in advance to fully enjoy the experience.
