Good tour to some impressive locations - Good tour to see some famous locations inland from Reykjavik. Nothing beats an active geyser, secret hot pool and some exciting waterfalls. Informative guide and the driver on the return trip from Secret Lagoon was entertaining.

Excellent Day out, Great Value for Money and Lovely Tour Guide (Darren) and Service! - This was a really excellent tour with Darren who were really welcoming and lovely; this was a great trip and I'd definitely reccomend this to anyone who wants to go on a really interesting day excursion with some really great tour guides :) The plan of the excursion itself was great, seeing the national park, geysirs, waterfalls and visiting the Secret Lagoon- it made for a really unique day and the coach itself was super comfortable (and a lovely way to get around). I'd 100% reccomend this trip and Darren did a great job :) I'd also add that the tour operators made it very easy for myself and my friend to get around; we had to switch coach at the end of our Secret Lagoon visit to return to Reykjavik, as we were the only two visiting the Secret Lagoon and had to get a lift back on a different coach, but this was done seamlessly and we felt very well looked after. And the entrance fee for the Secret Lagoon was included, which was excellent. A great day and trip :)

The Golden Circle and Secret Lagoon Tour - We enjoyed out tour guide. He was very knowledgeable. We loved the tour except the Secret Lagoon and did not to that part of the trip we booked. Our guide was gracious and said we could go back on the bus with the others. Note: The seats in the bus were tight and I was behind a seat that did not go up. Matter was resolved but seat was broken. Our tour guide moved some of us around.

Badly let down by wrong instructions on ticket - We booked this tour because, as well the Golden Circle, it included the Secret Lagoon, and offered a pickup from the cruise port. As instructed on the ticket, we waited there from half-an-hour before the start of the tour at 10am, and the ticket told us to look out for a green Smart bus. After about ten minutes, with no sign of the green bus, I rang the tour company Reykjavik Sightseeing to ask them when the bus would be coming. I was horrified to be told it had already left. When I explained that we had been told to wait for a green bus, the lady on the line said that was wrong and they had sent a white bus. There were loads of white buses at the terminal, none with the logo Reykjavik Sightseeing. I asked them if they would send a taxi to collect us as the tour was not due to depart until 10, but she said they could not do so. We had done exactly as the ticket said but were badly let down. Fortunately, she did manage to book us onto a Golden Circle Tour leaving at midday, but missing out on the Secret Lagoon was a huge disappointment, as we did not get what we had paid for, and we wasted two hours of the day due to the erroneous instructions on the ticket. The tour we went on was very good as a consolation, and we are grateful that the company did rebook us on that, but we expect to be refunded the difference in price between the two tours.

Skip this one - The sights are amazing but the rest of the experience was not good. The tour company changed our pickup location hours before our pickup and we didn't get their message in time, so we missed our pickup. They worked with us to get us onto a later tour, but because of that we were not able to go to Secret Lagoon. We got just the basic tour. We asked for them to refund the difference because the mistakes had been theirs. They would not. The bus was full and held about 70 people. The seats were very close together and uncomfortable. It was also sometimes hard to see because the only view was out the window next to you. (Everything else was blocked by other seats.) We discovered afterward that someone was left behind at the first stop. I guess when the group is that large, nobody notices if you're missing. The waterfall, techtonic plates, and geyser were great. I just suggest you go with a different company and a smaller tour.

Average - The stops were nice and comprises of the stars in this review. However, our guide Karen was not the friendliest and did not seem that enthusiastic about the entire journey.

Tour left early without us - Avoid Reykjavík Sightseeing company!! Customer satisfaction doesn’t mean anything to them. Our Golden Circle Tour with Secret Lagoon was scheduled to leave at 0800. We were present at the pick up point(Reykjavík Harbor cruise terminal) at 0745. No agents around to ask which van was ours, no signs seen on transport vehicles for that company, no one yelling out our last name Called their office at 0755 and told the representative the problem we were having. He was going to contact the driver. Put me on hold. Came back and said he talked with the driver. He had already left the pick up point. All before 0800. I was offered another tour leaving at 1000. It was a Golden Circle tour but didn’t include the Secret Lagoon. I accepted because we were in Reykjavík all day and wanted to see as much of Iceland as we could. We did not go to the Secret Lagoon because it was a two hour shorter tour. I requested a credit of $40 be paid to help compensate us the price of admission to Secret Lagoon. The sightseeing company refused almost immediately saying it was up to Viator to do that as they received my payment. Emailed Viator and customer service denied it. Asked Viator to assign a different agent and received a denial from her as well. I paid $259 to Viator for two tickets. Too bad that a $40 credit request is the reason that they have lost my future business.

Please avoid Reykjavik Sightseeing!!! - They didn't pick us up and refused to give us a refund. We're not the first customers this has happened to. Our pickup time on the ticket was 10am but they apparently start picking people up at 9:30. We arrived at our pickup point around 9:35 - my daughters glasses broke as we were leaving our apartment and she ran back for her spare pair. They don't come back after picking up other guests or call to see where you are. They just left us at the bus stop til I called them at 10:20 to see where they were. Dealing with them this week has not been pleasant so I'd avoid at all costs, we found other tour operators so much better and they do pop back if people aren't there.
