Great tour, best tour guide. - Gonzalo from EastWest was an exceptional tour guide. In addition to all the natural beauty listed on the itinerary, Gonzalo offered us additional experiences by shaving a few minutes off here and there at the scheduled stops. This allowed time to feed Icelandic horses, experience the best ice cream on the planet at a working dairy farm and see how bread is made by burying the dough in hot mud and placing a stone over the opening. Wonderful experience made better by our extremely knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. Highly recommended.

Amazing small group tour of golden circle from cruise port - Wonderful small group tour of 13. Travelled in very comfortable Mercedes mini bus. Goncalo was an amazing, knowledgeable guide who included extra stops for us. Highlight was the geysers and also feeding horse candy to the local horses. Lovely small family run restaurant for lunch at own cost. Plenty of restroom stops. Such a wonderful experience. Thank you Goncalo

Golden circle tour, a great experience with an amazing guide - We had an amazing time on our tour with Gonçalo! He was incredibly friendly, flexible, and even took us to extra attractions not on the itinerary—a great bonus! He was very attentive to our needs throughout the day. Worth every dollar, and we’re extremely happy with both the tour and Gonçalo. Highly recommended!

An amazing adventure - Today we had the opportunity to tour the Golden Cirlce with the best tour operator in Iceland. His name was Goncalo and he was the best. His knowledge and passion for showing us Iceland was above and beyond. His suggestions for lunch and recommendations for stops only added to the joy. Such a great time and I could not recommend him and the East - West group enough.

Amazing tour! - Gonçalo was the perfect tour guide and driver. He was friendly and enthusiastic and expertly described the landscape and its features. We were shown amazing waterfalls, geysirs and volcanoes and a surreal national park. Gonçalo even fitted in feeding some Icelandic horses, which was enjoyed by everyone. My husband was ill and unable to go on this pre booked tour, so I went alone. Gonçalo was very kind to me and made my solo trip easier. I was able to report back to my husband about all the fantastic things I had seen and done and show him all my photographs. I would not hesitate in recommending this tour to family and friends and especially if it were to be led by Gonçalo.

Gullfoss and Great Geysir - We stopped at the Geysir which is an old geysir that doesn't erupt anymore. It's basically a big hole in the ground with water at the bottom. We stopped there for 30 minutes although 10-15 would have been enough. The second stop was the Gullfoss waterfalls. These waterfalls were amazing and well worth the stop! We stopped here for 55 minutes. And if it had not of been for the very nice gift shop where you could buy food and really nice souvenirs 55 minutes would have been too long. The next stop was the Great Geyser which does erupt every 10 -15 minutes. They had several other sights to see on that stop. We stopped there for 55 minutes . The only con to that stop was the crowd, you shuffled along with the crowd. The next stop was Thingvellir National Park. It was a beautiful park with several hiking trails. We stopped here for 50 minutes which was not long enough to hike any of the trails, therefore 20 minutes would have been long enough to stop in my opinion. So we stopped for 190 minutes (3 hours and 10 minutes) but we were on the Mercedes Sprinter Van for 7 hours and 15 minutes. The Mercedes Sprinter van was old and had two vents that put out air and it was warm air. The temperature that day was 70 or higher and we were melting down. I believe there were either 18 or 19 of us in the van. The driver was the guide which was not good. The sound system didn't work from the beginning of the tour. Everyone complained and at every stop he said he had fixed it which he had not. He finally gave up and turned the radio on. The driver was not personable or friendly and acted like he really didn't like his job. Also, the description of the tour said the van would be marked with the name of the company EASTWEST. It was not marked, it had no markings whatsoever!! Two of the four stops were worth seeing but I would not recommend booking with EASTWEST.
