Fantastic Tour! - The Golden Circle and snowmobiling excursion was fantastic. Our guide was wonderful and knowledgeable. The Falls were spectacular to see. The snowmobiling was a strenuous activity but well worth it! We also saw the geyser and where the continents are drifting. I would definitely recommend this excursion!

Amazing experience! - This was an amazing adventure. Our guide, Leifur Bjornsson was very knowledgeable and kind. When we made our stops, we were given ample time to see everything without feeling rushed. Our first stop was the waterfalls. They are magnificent to see. You can get quite close to them. The second stop was snowmobiling on the glacier. It was an experience I will never forget. One thing to know is it is quite strenuous to control the snowmobile. The beauty of the glacier was astounding. Our next stop was the geyser. It goes off often so you are sure to see it. The last stop was the continental drift. Seeing where the continents are drifting apart was interesting. Everything was perfect! I highly recommend this tour.

Golden Circle and Snowmobiling - an awesome day! - Excellent full day! Meeting at the bus station was super easy ( you can park there if you drive, but we walked). The highlight is the snowmobiling which makes this so much more rewarding than just the Golden Circle tour on its own. It is a lot of driving and returns approx 7:00-7:30 so it’s great value too! Without a doubt the guide/driver Leifur made it so much more interesting with his history and singing too! 10 out of 10. Tak Tak!

Loved it!!! - Our tour and tour guide was amazing! Our tour started with the geyser (which was cool) just small but still awesome to see. Then we went snowmobiling on a the glacier - definitely the best part of the whole trip. Everyone loved it. Very chilly but beautiful. They give you everything to stay as warm as you can and everyone is so friendly. Only problem was we were shipped around from bus to bus and on the way back our bus broke down from snowmobiling. Shoutout to our tour guide though!!! She drove out and got us from the broken down bus without hesitation. They were already sending another bus but we were majorly behind on time so she wasn’t trying to waste anymore time! We finished with Godafoss waterfall and Thingvellir National Park. We didn’t spend as much time there as we probably would have because of the late times, but our tour started a little after 9am and got back between 8-9pm. We all laugh about what happened now! Highly recommend so cool!

Great experience with riding snowmobiles on top of a Glacier - It was a lot of fun riding the snowmobiles on top of a glacier. It would have been better if they would break up the groups into beginner and experienced as there were riders that would barely go and you have to follow each other. The Golden Circle was really cool too. Enjoyed Thingvellir and Gullfoss Waterfall as they were beautiful and spectacular to see. I had the fortune of seeing the Golden Circle on a prior visit so I would have preferred if there was just the snowmobiling experience as it makes for a long day to do that along with the full Golden Circle experience. However, if you have not done either, this is a very worthwhile and memorable experience.

Wow Water View & Snow Adventure - I finally experienced Snowmobiling. The guides for this were patient, friendly, the bus ride to location was rocky and adventurous. The tour guide very informative about the glaciers. The Snowmobiling was fun, It was shaky, but excited about the experience driving up and glad my husband drove down so I was able to take in more of the amazing views. A great first time experience snowmobiling, I even made a snow angel. This made for good 1 year Marriage Anniversary Trip to Iceland. The Tour guide for Golden Circle was very informative about the areas. I really enjoyed the Gulffoss amazing waterfall. The time was just too short. Less than 30 minutes to view and make it back up to the bus. I could have spent another hour there, perhaps even sat to have lunch by the waterside. However Most Amazing waterfall I've ever seen up close. The geyser tour was good, we got to see the hot water fall spring up. However the tour guide could have given the lecture on the bus ride, while walking or while waiting for the explosion instead of having us stand in one area for 7 minutes out of the 25 we were allowed to explore the area and be back on the bus. (This felt rushed) The last stop to the National Park was nice, historical information shared was good. The time allowed was shortened due to being behind schedule but didn't feel rushed. It was a pleasant way to round up the day of activities. For this tour I'm glad I brought a sandwich and snacks. There was just not enough time to take in views, learn a little history, purchase food/snacks and use the restroom and be back in time to the bus. Perhaps advertised time for sight stops should be adjusted to more accurately reflect the quick stops. It's better to say 20 minutes and allow more time then to post 45 or an hour and cut it to less than half the time advertised, especially in situations within their control. However over all a good fun filled day of activities.

The Tour Operator is cheat and I lost my full money due to them!!!! - I have never had a worse experience in Europe in the last 15 years. The travel operator is Reykjavik Excursions. While Iceland has some of the best tour guides, this travel operator is highly unethical and the people manning the desk at their BSI Terminal office are really really bad and rude. Let me explain: 1. I had a confirmed booking, which I had done 30 days back. 2. On the morning of the tour, I called and confirmed the operator and was told that the tour is scheduled to leave on time. 3. However, once we reached the office, we were told that the tour has been cancelled!! I asked for the reason, and was told that the there is too much of snowfall and due to fresh snow the bikes can’t be ridden on that day. 4. Upon asking as to why I wasn’t informed earlier, I was told very rudely that this wasn’t their fault. All the staff there said that they cannot do anything to help me and spoke to me in the rudest possible manner. I was shocked and hurt. 5. But the most shocking part is yet to come. I booked at their counter a sperate trip for that day– only to the Golden circle without the Snowmobiles. 6. While on this trip, we passed through Gulfoss. This is the place from where the Bus carries the passengers for the snowmobiles. (it is a huge bus with very big wheels). So, I was surprised to see the bus. I spoke to the bus driver and he was very surprised to see me. 7. He said that the snowmobile tour was on schedule. He was expecting us, but he was told that Reykjavik Excursions has cancelled the trip since they did not have enough passengers. He, even offered to take me and my family for the snowmobiles since he had space for 3 extra people. 8. When I came back and told this to Reykjavik Excursions, they started shouting at me. They made me feel guilty as I it was my fault. Not once did anyone say that they had made a mistake or that they cancelled it due to their cost reasons. 9. I have not seen such kind of corrupt and bad behaviour from any Tour operator anywhere else in the world. 10. I booked my other tours through the other tour operators in Iceland and I had some excellent trips in Iceland.
