• Thingvellir National Park - This tour starts with visiting Þingvellir National Park, one of the oldest and longest-running parliament in the world. At the National Park we can also see markings of the American and Eurasian tectonic plates being pulled apart, slowly but surely of about 2cm each year.
• Geysir - Next stop is Geysir Hot Spring area. This place is the home of the original geyser and one of the most photographed tourist attractions in the world. In this area you’ll get to walk amidst hissing steam vents, sulfurous mud pots and get up close to one of the world’s most reliable fountain geyser, Strokkur hot spring, that every 4 to 8 minutes blasts out a column of super-heated water up to 20 meters into the air.
• Gullfoss Waterfall - Gullfoss waterfall is the queen of Icelandic waterfalls, there the water rushes down a narrow canyon with indescribable force, painting the air with a glittering mist of glacial water.
• Langjokull Glacier - From the Gullfoss area you will travel up to Langjökull glacier, the second largest glacier in Europe. You will get to ride in a unique monster truck, custom made for traveling in comfort across glacier landscapes. On the glacier, you will be able to enjoy the snow and ice while drinking a hot cocoa and eating Icelandic pastries. If weather allows, you might be able to go snow gliding or even glacier-golfing!
