- Thingvellir National Park - Our first destination is Þingvellir National Park, where you will get the chance to walk between two tectonic plates. North American and Eurasian that are drifting apart approx. 2.5 cm a year! You will have time to walk around the park, admire beautiful Öxarárfoss and see the first Icelandic parliament or as it is called Althingi in Icelandic.
- Geysir - Next on our agenda is Geysir geothermal area with an active geyser called Strokkur which erupts approximately every 10 minutes. We will stop there for a while, so you will have time to try to take an iconic photo with geyser erupting like a fountain behind you. There are restaurants located next to the geyser area that you can check on if you get hungry, want to buy souvenirs or use the toilet.
- Gullfoss Waterfall - Our next stop is spectacular Gullfoss or Golden Falls in English. This amazing waterfall has been visited by tourist since 1875, it is very powerful but it is also known for its beauty as you might see a rainbow above the water or a golden hue shining in its glacier water.
- Kerid Crater - Kerið, a volcanic crater lake located in the Grímsnes area in south Iceland, is one of the most visually stunning geological wonders in the country.
