The tectonic fault that crosses the entire national park is also located right on the shores of the lake. Þingvallavatn which is also the largest lake in the nation.

To see and experience the REAL Iceland it takes Elysia! - WITH ELYSIA I did 3 excursions: the golden circle, the south coast and the aurora hunt.
They were 3 fantastic experiences. Michele and Ilaria available, accommodating, empathetic, nice, prepared.... what can we add? many attentive to our needs / paranoia / aspirations. We have seen a lot, a lot for having been only a few days, they have also taken us to some destinations little beaten by mass tourism that unfortunately is invading Iceland.

Winter dream - Michele and Ilaria were really attentive, scrupulous and super competent allowing us to maximize the knowledge of the small portion of Iceland that we could visit in the few days available to us. Highly recommended to rely on them!

Travel in Iceland - We had a great time! Ilaria and Michele are a small but close-knit team, and very experienced in the area.
We did 4 days with transfers from/to the airport and excursions during the days.
Enthusiasm and professionalism are the key words of this experience, and each excursion was accompanied by anecdotes about what we would see or about life in Iceland.
Also in the paths there were some gems outside the normal sightseeing, such as a thermal bath with snow outside or a very light trekking path to a hidden waterfall that we loved to go crazy 😄
The places are beautiful and leave you breathless, Iceland really deserves to be experienced and thanks to Elysia Tour we were able to make the most of the few days available!

Northern Lights - Good morning, they were in Iceland at the end of November 2024 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of a friend. All the experience was organized by Michele and Ilaria who made us a tailor-made tour. They were fantastic, absolutely helpful and ready to accommodate our every need. They also took us hunting for the Northern Lights which was one of our requests, met at the first shot!!! We returned with the desire to leave with them maybe in summer to see the midnight sun!

Iceland, snow smiles and snow - Michele guides her for excellence, patience, sympathy, understanding and super helpfulness.
On this organized tour, with small children within the group, Michele has always been kind and helpful taking care of every detail.
He showed us the love he puts into his work by transmitting to us the passion and feeling Iceland left him.
Each explanation inside his van, between snowy and icy roads, tell with precision and dedication the beauties, culture and often wild and uncontaminated nature of this magnificent land.

Iceland dream - We recently returned from this wonderful island...Iceland...we were a group and contacted Michele to give us the tour of the Golden Circle, and the walk x Reykjavik. He rented a van all for us and accompanied us for the 5 days we stayed in Reykjavik. Michele was a great guide, while driving very carefully, because of the snowy or icy roads, he explained every single thing we encountered along the way.
He brought us a more "secret" places that are really breathtaking .. thank you again Michele for the fantastic tour he organized us... nice, prepared and above all he transmitted his love for Iceland ❤️

Between nature and history, competence and sympathy. - Fantastic experience, bordering on fairytale. The landscapes and places seen are unique, suggestive and breathtaking. The icing on the cake were the competence and kindness of the guides, Michele and Ilaria, who accompanied us with the right historical and environmental notions but also with sympathy and carefree. If we (hopefully) return to Iceland, we will definitely rely on their agency. We highly recommend!

Golden Circle Excursion - Fantastic tour of the Golden Circle in Reykjavik with Ilaria.
Very prepared and very nice Guide who made us live experiences as Icelandic people, revealed customs and traditions of this people as well as made us visit unusual places.... I will definitely return to this land with the help of Elysia Tours!
