Helpful and accommodating - Very accommodating service and the transportation was also very helpful about trying to get visitors back as close as possible to their hotels. Drivers were friendly. Blue lagoon itself was amazing. I would definitely use Reykjavík Excursions again

The Blue Lagoon itself... - The Blue Lagoon itself was lovely & worth the extra for the premier package however the transport to and from was not so great as our drop off driver told us the wrong pick up time, leaving our group and 15 others waiting in the cold and rain for a bus back to the terminal. A bus turned up but the driver was less than helpful, refusing to help. A driver from another tour company had seats left on his bus and was happy to take us back to the terminal/ bus stops

Overall great experience. - Only hitch was the way the staff handled us in two lines. We were unaware of preregistering online. A priority line for pre-registered was taken 1st and the queue never emptied so our line seemed it would never be serviced. We forced our way to an agent to get entry. After that all went well and we enjoyed it very much.

The Blue Lagoon – Beautiful, but Overrated - The Blue Lagoon is definitely a unique experience, but it didn’t quite live up to the hype for me. It’s very touristy and extremely crowded, which takes away from the relaxing atmosphere you’d expect from a natural hot spring. What many don’t realize is that it’s actually man-made and fed by runoff from a nearby geothermal plant—not exactly the hidden natural wonder it’s often portrayed as. That said, the water is warm and soothing, and the surrounding lava landscape is beautiful. If you’re looking to check it off your bucket list, go—but manage your expectations. Just know you’ll be sharing the experience with a lot of people. Sky Lagoon is much better and less crowded!

Over hyped and not worth it - Honestly, the Blue Lagoon was a letdown. It’s incredibly touristy and way too crowded, which took away from the relaxation experience. It felt more like an overpriced theme park than a natural Icelandic hot spring. If you’re looking for something more serene and authentic, I’d highly recommend Sky Lagoon instead—much less crowded and a far better atmosphere overall.

Terribly organized - go with another company - This was terrible. The pickup driver takes you to a transfer station and no one explains anything. Then the bus home was early and left and we had the choice of waiting 2 hours in freezing rain or pay for a taxi. So that cost $200. Everyone using this company was confused and thoroughly annoyed. Do not use this company - I’m asking for a refund upon return home!

We did not receive our vouchers a day in advance but We received the m AFTER THE EXCURSION😡 - We received our vouchers by text after the excursion had already departed,we were terribly disappointed to miss our trip to the blue lagoon. We will be at sea for a few days but will await a full refund when we return from Iceland. Unfortunately this was our ONLY day in Reykjavik

Title: Blue Lagoon No Show/No Refund - If you want to take a tour of the Blue Lagoon in Iceland with Trip Advisor - DON’T DO IT! We were waitlisted for the ship’s Blue Lagoon tour, but the cruise line called the day before and said tour available. But since we took 2 other tours w Trip Advisor / Viator we kept their tour vs. cancel. We were at the Skarfabakki Port pick up as outlined in their email at 10:10 AM for a 10:30 pick up to transport us to the bus station for an 11 AM Blue Lagoon tour. NO REYKJAVIK EXCURSIONS bus ever arrived. Called the Excursion # at 10:45 and no return call as promised! We waited until 11:15 and saw a driver in a van. Asked him what to do. He didn’t have our names listed and the 4 people on the Reykjavik Excursions bus had different tours. This was supposed to be the highlight of our Iceland Trip. Instead it was a complete BUMMER – To make matters even worse I emailed explaining and asked for a refund? Trip Advisor said NO- Insult added to injury. Lesson learned always take the cruise tours and you won’t be out $400?!!!

Worst Tour Company in Iceland - We booked an afternoon tour to the Blue Lagoon and showed up at bus stop 1, our meeting point, around 12:30. Since we booked through an internet service, they had told us in an email that our pick up time would be 1 PM and that we needed to watch out for a tour company called Icelandia. (This was the fault of the internet booking company because the real tour company was Reykjavik Excursions.) A bus did come around 12:45, but the driver did not announce the tour that the bus was in charge of, nor did they inquire with anyone around the bus stop as to what tour they were in charge of. (We took tours with other companies that actually tried to find the people that were on their tour; "customer service") The bus just drove up, collected a couple of people and then left left after 5 minutes or so. The bus said "Flybus" and "Reykjavik Excursions", but not Icelandia, so we assumed it was not our bus. It was incredibly windy and rainy that day and my children were freezing and when no bus showed up at 1:00 PM, I called the tour company, which was Reykjavik Excursions. The representative, after taking my name, started to be quite rude and blamed me and my family for not getting on the bus when it came. She did offer a pickup at a later time, 3:00 PM, so I said OK because my family really wanted to go to the Blue Lagoon. We then got out of the cold and went back to the hotel. When we returned at 2:15, using the logic from the representative that I talked to on the phone, that the busses leave exactly 30 minutes before the actual scheduled departure time. At 2:45, still no one came, so I called Reykjavik Excursions again. By this time it was 2:50 and my children were turning into popsicles. The representative was rude again and basically gave the excuse that the bus was late, in traffic, and just to wait. I of course cancelled and hung up the phone. Yes, we are receiving a refund, but that is not the point. We had to deal with rude representatives who do not care about customer service and we wasted 3 hours of our vacation and didn't get to go to the Blue Lagoon. This company doesn't care about ruining someone's experience of Iceland. They only care about money. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY.
