Awesome cave experience - It was a really good tour. Our guide was friendly and informative - talking about the caves formation and several features found inside. The path is mostly covered with wooden walkways (the one exception is at the start of the cave, which has some mats covering the ice/water) so it is easy to navigate and very safe. I highly recommemd this tour.

Well worth doing this before you visit the waterfalls - This was fascinating. Gave us a real understanding of the geology of Iceland and why waterfalls appear to come from the middle of a cliff face. Would highly recommend and Aoife our amazing Irish guide had a head full of interesting facts. Was even better as partner and I had a private tour as the only ones booked for 10am!

Must do! - Awesome tour! Best cave tour in south and west Iceland. Aoife was our guide and was very charming and informative. This is worth a detour from the Ring Road

Fabulous - The Cave was amazing. The tour guide, Aoife, was very knowledgeable and was great at her job. Being inside a lava tube of a volcano was truly spectacular and one of the highlights of our trip to Iceland and is definitely worth visiting

The best lava tunnel you’ll ever visit - Visited here midweek in March. Our trip was hosted by Aoife, a really knowledgeable Environmental Science graduate. The trip was exactly the right balance of adventure and education. Superb wooden walkways throughout most of the length of the cave made for easy exploration. Decent visit length at over an hour and with 900m of horizontal cave to explore. The cave goes on for another 900m but alas that isn’t explorable by visitors as the tunnel floor is too strewn with boulders to continue the walkway. A really interesting perspective to see an underground tunnel created by lava flow rather than hydrological or glacial erosion. Reasonably expensive but recommended.

Interesting and unique - We had a great tour of this, Iceland’s largest lava guide. Our guide was from Dublin, and filled our tour with interesting observations and insights. Most thought provoking was when he turned out the lights and encouraged us to consider the impact to our other senses and how we primarily depend on our sight. The physics of the cave formation overlapped my experience in glass melting, which the guide was eager to discuss and trade insights.

Weak - Very weak. The guide was weak, the cave is weak and the price is high. Doesn't justify the entire visit. Expriencia not to repeat
