Great Family Adventure - We had a fabulous time on this trip. The horse farm experience was fun and very informative (and wonderful for kids). But the highlight was definitely going on and into the glacier. Not only were our guides extremely knowledgeable, they were funny, helpful for those that struggled on the ice and very good looking!

11/10 white out experience!! - This is one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had!!! Not only do you get to explore inside of the largest ice cave in Iceland, you also get to take a Star Wars-esque vehicle through the glacier terrain. On our trip we had a total white out and couldn’t see a thing!!! Felt totally safe the entire time and loved all of our guides (Nikolai & Andrei!) Not the most young child friendly day, but would give an 11/10 recommendation to all adult groups!!!

Such unique and fun experience! - We were so amazed by the idea that we can go inside an actual glacier, and this tour met all our expectations! The guide was super fun and always made sure everyone was entertained and enjoying themselves! The tunnel is surreal to walk in, and the drive up the the glacier is really fun! Our group had a child whose birthday was on that day and the group sang for him in the tunnel - it was simply amazing!

Great trip! - Great day out. Tour guides were interesting and fun. Always felt safe despite the whiteout blizzard. Highlight was when one of the guides who is half Irish and half French sang an Icelandic lullaby at the end of the ice cave (the 'chapel'), with backing vocals from 'Snow' (not the 90s rapper), an Icelandic guy in his 20s who had been working on glaciers since he was 14. I remember thinking to myself 'This is a different way to spend a Monday afternoon' :) Only grim thing was learning how much the glacier is receding. Highly recommended trip, which was rounded off by meeting some Icelandic Ponies!

Such a unique experience and a must do - This was so coool. Unlike anything we have done before. Really interesting story and engineering of the structure is very cool. Great staff- Malanio(sorry for bad spelling ) from Argentina sang some opera in the wedding room which was a little special. I would have liked more information on the technical side of how it was built and maintained. We really enjoyed the experience . As it was just half a day, we managed to rest in the afternoon. This was important for us as most tours take the whole day due to distances . Loved it

The hour spent in the... - The hour spent in the glacier was interesting. It's about getting there. A long bus ride, a transfer for another 49 minutes in another bus to the base camp then the famous Monster truck that takes us to the tunnel. 30 minutes in the diesel fumes to arrive at the tunnel entrance with a heartache and headache. The guide was interesting. High cost for an average experience

Bumpy snowmobile ride on a snow field in a fog and a look at melted out glacier tip/cavity - The advertising promises snowmobile tour on the Icelandic glacier. My friend and i signed up for Reykjavik pick up option. Pick up was timely at the designated pick up spot, but then the bus drove around city for a while picking up others. This was followed by 1.5 hrs ride to their base not far from Gullfoss. After a half an hour spent in their cafe we were fitted with coveralls, helmet and balaclava (recommend bring your own). Next step was another 45 minute drive on monster snow truck-bus on bad road covered with mixture of snow ice and mud til we reached the snow field where they keep snowmobiles. No one in the group had any experience riding snowmobiles. After a brief (5 min) instruction on how to ride snowmobile we rode for about half an hour to the entrance to the ice cave. You can either ride alone (for extra $$) or have 2 people - one rider and one passenger. The ice "cave" is basically melted out space at the tip of the glacier, it is about 6.5 feet high and 15 by 20 ft, the very narrow melted water channel extend further under the glacier. We spent half an hour milling around there looking at the ice, we had about a dozen and half people and we filled it. We then reversed the steps and rode back to the monster truck/bus. Visibility was very limited with occasional glimpses of snowy crags. We returned to the base where we stayed for an hour at their cafe with limited food choices, coffe and beer. Returned to Reykjavik by a different road , some nice views along the way. The total time from pick up to drop off in town was about 8.5 hrs. The guides were exceptionally nice. The snowmobile ride for the novice was unnerving, very bumpy and uneven as the snow was melted in spots, several snowmobiles flipped over (no injuries :-)). Curiously, contrary to the advertizing, we were never actually on the glacier. The snowmobile ride was actually on the snow field covering rocks that typically melts in summer. So, if snowmobiling is your thing you might as well just ride snowmobile in any snowy place in the world (being from US midwest there are better places in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan) Visibility was minimal with occasional glimpses of neighboring peaks (which you may just as well see from the road ). We went there in mid March. So, you will enjoy it if you have never seen ice cavity, want to ride snowmobile on ungroomed terrain on a snowfield and if lucky with weather want to see some snow covered rocky peaks and have a few hundred dollars to spend. Again, the guides were very nice and informative. IMHO the cost did not justify the trip.

Bus never came to pick us up - A whole day wasted. We waited patiently at the designated pickup stop (bus stop #1) at 8:30am. There were about 50 other people waiting for other tours and most were picked up. However, my name was never called, and we never got picked up. I confronted one driver who I thought might be ours but he said we were not on his list. He was a bit dismissive so didn’t try asking him again to double check. We waited for up to an hour and when we finally got in touch with support they basically told us there was nothing they could do as the bus already left the city. I’ve been to numerous countries and never had an issue with logistics. I can’t fathom how the ONE job of a tour company in one of the most beautiful places can fail so miserably. They really need to improve communication, especially at the pickup stops where multiple companies operate. A megaphone and/or better signage would really help I think (if they even bothered to show up in the first place).
