Stop by the Tourism Office for advice on how to best see Reims - Our group was visiting the Mumm's winery for the afternoon and we stopped by to get some information about the tourism in Reims. The ladies working there spoke perfect English and could not have been nicer explaining what they did and how to tour the city. They made wonderful suggestions and could not have been nicer to us.

Worth it - Make a plan so you can take full advantage of this and know what days the country/town/state takes as holiday. A lot was closed when we went. Check out Pommery champagne they have an amazing art gallery/experience built in.

Makes everything so easy - This office is English friendly and full of staff who want you to enjoy their city. They were a great resource for making the most of our stay. The City Pass worked great at the museum. We didn’t have a chance to use it for the very extensive public transport trams, buses big and small.

Essential but a bit of a hassle - Essential but needs urgent improvement. For us, the 72-hour pass made it profitable. We discovered museums that we would not have visited without this pass. On the other hand, it is complicated to book online when the link is found and the service provider also includes it in its pricing. which is not often the case. We had to travel to the OT to do certain activities or book directly by telephone with the service provider some didn't even know this pass There are a number of things to review; it is essential that the authors of this pass put themselves in a real situation of use in the place of the tourist.

A good way to explore Reims - I booked a 1-day Reims pass for a Saturday. I easily booked it on online and found the app very useful for seeing what attractions were available. There are a few things to note with the pass: - Firstly, some attractions aren’t open on weekends and vice versa, so you have a tough decision to make about what day of the week to book it for. - Be wary of linking your pass to your phone. I linked it to my phone which later had to be replaced and subsequently lost access to my pass. Luckily, the Reims Tourist Office were able to respond to my email within a few working hours to resolve this. - When your ticket is checked on the tram, the code that Reims Pass produces for the tram isn’t recognised by ticket inspectors. Luckily, a local resident was able to explain this to the inspector for me. I would recommend doing a fair bit of research before purchasing a pass, as I sadly wasn’t able to get my money’s worth. It’s a great initiative by Reims Tourist Office but still appears to be in the early stages. Once it’s developed further, it will be very popular among tourists.

Problems using but staff understood - Difficult to get pass initiated and difficult to use. Staff very friendly but app didn’t work at all on the buses. Drivers were friendly and understood the problem and allowed us on the buses.

Five adults on leisure trip - Not really useful for our group, many attractions were not really in the city but miles away and added walking time. Disappointed.

The pass was not... - The pass was not recognised by bus drivers or the main museums, and a lot of cathedrals were free anyway. It wasn’t worth it.
