• Dyrholaey - At Dyrhólaey, enjoy stunning panoramic views of Iceland’s black sand beaches and dramatic coastline, highlighted by a famous rock arch. During the summer, charming nesting puffins can be observed.
• Reynisfjara Beach - Known for its striking beauty, mysterious atmosphere, and dramatic geology, this coastline is highly photogenic, featuring numerous hexagonal basalt columns. Puffins may be seen on the cliffs during the summer.
• Vik - Pause for a meal in Iceland’s southernmost village, Vík í Mýrdal, where one can savor delicious lamb soup or the renowned black dough pizza (not included in price).
• Solheimajokull Glacier - This intriguing glacier tongue extends from the larger ice cap Myrdalsjokull, which covers the Katla volcano, known for eruptions larger than Eyjafjallajokull’s. A 15-minute walk from the parking area leads to a great viewpoint to admire the glacier.

Continue to Reynisfjara, a black sand beach at the southernmost tip of Iceland. Here, marvel at the vast basalt columns and perhaps explore the sea caves if the tide is favorable.

Your next destination is Vik, a quaint seaside village recognized for its basalt sea stacks. According to local lore, these structures are petrified trolls who were transformed into stone while frolicking in the waves.
