Long boat rides made worthwhile due to the beauty of the places we saw - This was a really fun tour because the places we went to: Reef Island, Blue Lagoon were amazing. The Aquarium snorkeling was fine, but there was not much to see so the group stayed in the water for maybe 15 minutes max. We read before that the ride is bumpy, and this is especially true on the return. If your back is sore it may not be the best tour, as the bumpy rides last for one hour each because the lagoon is large. The guides were friendly and competent. If you are English speaking only, you may not get much explanation. The guides do try their best to communicate, but they do not actually know much English. It was oK for us because one person in our party speaks French.

out of this world experience - We were so happy to be able to visit the island of reefs and blue lagoon in one day. The strange reef formations are indeed other worldly and the lunch at blue lagoon was delicious and authentically local. The boat ride is about an hour each way and a bit bumpy so be ready for that.

Mixed bag - Pros: 1). Interesting locations to visit 2). Courteous and friendly crew 3) Good food, with exception noted below Cons: 1) Poor communication on pick up time and location. When we returned, we were dropped at a dock far from our resort, and told that we'd have to pay a taxi to return. Once we protested, the cost was covered. 2) Food. One of our party was vegan--we were told that was "no problem" and their lunch consisted of some shredded carrots and lettuce, pieces of cocoanut, and cocoanut bread. Meanwhile the other guests had multiple substantive courses. 3) Drop off. I had an appointment, and was assured in advance that we'd be back by a certain time--we were almost 50 minutes late. I assume these things operate on "island time," but the assurances rang hollow. 4) The seas were extremely rough--we were in a pounding boat for probably four hours of travel, and four hours on land. The places we visited weren't really worth the journey given the circumstances. Conditions are beyond the control of the tour operator, but I'm not sure it was actually safe to go out. Some other guests in the boat were very nervous.
