A magical excursion ✨ - This excursion is beautiful! We started by crossing the Tiputa Pass, famous for the many dolphins that are there 🐬. After the chance to see many dolphins, we continued a few minutes by boat and made a snorkeling stop in the coral garden 🪸. Then we took the boat again, passing quickly near the bird island. After about 40 minutes by boat, we landed on an idyllic motu, bordered by a pink sandy beach, colored by shells, and were able to enjoy a swim in the warm and shallow waters, in search of the most beautiful fish, rays and black tip sharks. After this moment of pure relaxation, we attended and participated in traditional weaving workshops in the shade of coconut trees (crowns, bags...). For lunch, you will quickly smell the delicious smell of grilled fish emanating from the barbecue. Raw fish, grilled coconut bread and local fruits were served in a friendly Mood, to the sound of ukulele. This meal was accompanied by a glass of Tahitian rosé (the only wine in the world from a coral vineyard). As a result of this delicious traditional Polynesian meal, we walked 5 minutes through a coconut forest, to the blue lagoon. We were able to enjoy this beautiful blue lagoon, dotted with hot and cold currents. Snorkeling, swimming and beach are at the rendezvous, for about 2h of relaxation 🏖️. After this wonderful relaxing and exotic moment, we found our boat, already nostalgic for this magical place, and sailed 1 hour back to Rangiroa. This excursion is mandatory when you visit Rangiroa, you can only be amazed ✨ Thank you for this incredible day, your kindness and your joie de vivre, we will return without hesitation to our next visit to Polynesia!

- A wonderful day trip in between scuba diving! Snorkeling at the Aquarium was really fun and was the best of the day. Really appreciated the water-proof ponchos for after when the rain clouds came in too. The blue lagoon was incredible to see! Not much to see snorkeling-wise, but a wonderful place to hangout and chill in the water. Bring your cameras! Lunch was DELICIOUS and the Tahitian rosé wine was a cool touch. There was BBQ chicken, smoked tuna, coconut crab, coconut bread, cake, rice, and more! And there were a bunch of black-tip reef sharks (and babies!) hanging out in the water nearby totally minding their own business. We even got to see dolphins at the end of the day in the pass before heading back. You don't get to snorkel with them, but still really fun to see if you get lucky!

Really enjoyed our... - Really enjoyed our excursion. The blu lagoon is beautiful. Our tour guide was great. We were the only Americans on our trip, and we don’t speak any french. The guide did a great job speaking in French and translating to english to make sure we felt included. Lunch was delicious one of our favorite meals. Highly recommended!

Great trip - A beautiful, unique place! We had a great trip. Not sure if it was just the sea conditions, but the boat ride there and back was rough. Lunch was great, and the wine was a special touch. The restrooms on the island need some work. Snorkeling at the Aquarium was great. Our big complaint was that we felt rushed and would have loved some more time at the Aquarium. Could have done with less time basket weaving.

Highlight of our honeymoon - Honestly the best excursion in all of Rangiroa! The views were insane. The food was sooo good- probably the best meal we had in Rangiroa. The first and second captain made it an unforgettable experience for us. We had a little bit of a language barrier as we only speak English, but they made such an effort with us and really made it worth while. Thank you for making this the highlight of our honeymoon.

The locations on Rangiroa... - The locations on Rangiroa (the passes - especially drift snorkelling Avatoru, the blue lagoon, the pink sands...) sell themselves without the tour guides needing to do anything. However, compared with other similar excursions in Polynesia, we missed the animation and engagement that can really make such a day. We were lucky to be able to understand some French because the guides really weren't able to say much in English but even in French the communication was minimalist and there was certainly no singing/music/"vibe". There wasn't any water offered at all on the boat, let alone beer or rum punch. At lunch there was some juice/water and a mouthful of local wine but nothing else. The food was nice enough and the usual motu fare. At the sands and blue lagoon it was very unclear what was happening when and we found ourselves having left our suncream on the boat. Thankfully we didn't burn much at the blue lagoon. There were some kids from the other boat on our tour that thought it'd be amusing to chase the baby sharks and throw lumps of coral at them and the guides did absolutely nothing. The parents also just nervously laughed from a distance when we ourselves repeatedly said no to them. That did the trick thankfully but again it was indicative of the fact that the "guides" were more just taxi drivers taking us from one spot to the next. As per other reviews, the boat ride across the lagoon is quite a trip and thankfully we picked a good day for it. Not an awful lot the tour(s) can do about it though other than travelling considerably slower, which would really eat up the day. On the whole we enjoyed the day and in particular the multitude of adult and baby sharks around the pink sands is quite special. We'd recommend the itinerary but not necessarily the company though.

The places visited are... - The places visited are very beautiful, however the boat was overcrowded and the guides spoke very little English; consequently, while for the French detailed explanations of the activities and descriptions of the places were given, for those who spoke another language (English) hardly any information was given. This made the experience unenjoyable in general. Moreover, the guides persisted in feeding fish and sharks to push them to rise to the surface, an activity that is in fact contraindicated because it interferes with the ecosystem and could make the sharks aggressive due to the presence of food.
