Drove from Colombo to Ella with no fuss. - Driver messaged us in the morning so we knew when he was arriving. Offered to stop so we could buy snacks and use the bathroom on the 6 hour drive and even stopped at a couple of places so we could take photos.

Well planned trip in beautiful Sri Lanka - We had a wonderful trip to Sri Lanka organised by Mahaweli tours Our guide Dulaj did a huge effort to make our Holliday perfect He is a professional driver that made the long drives in the chaotic traffic smooth and enjoyable Dulaj is a very good ambassador for his country and introduced us to the beautiful nature the interesting history ,culture and flavours of Sri Lanka When we lost a credit card he made an ekstra effort to help us get it back We owe him lots of thanks and can only recommend Mahaweli tours and Dulaj for anyone who are planning a Holliday in Sri Lanka

Exceptional service - I cannot recommend Mahaweli Tours enough—they truly saved our trip! I accidentally booked tickets for the wrong month, and by the time I realized it, everything was already sold out. Desperate, I reached out to the agency to see if anything could be done. They assured me they would try to find tickets for our desired dates, though I had little hope since this trip typically sells out at least three weeks in advance.
To my surprise, they kept me updated regularly and worked tirelessly to secure tickets. Miraculously, at midnight before our trip, they managed to find two! Not only that, but they personally delivered them to our hotel reception at 6 AM.
This was hands down the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. I highly recommend Mahaweli Tours—100% worth it!

Smooth sailing - Nice trip from kandy to Ella and good and flexible driver too. Would do it again if I missed to get those train tickets. Stopped by multiple attractions depending on what we passengers wanted.

Fantastic experience - Susantha drove me for 2 days around Kandy and Ella. Visitide temples, waterfalls and the wildpark. We spotted over 30 elephants in the wild.

Taxi Kandy to Ella with driver indika - Had a very nice taxi ride with indika, he can drive well and if you want he will take you past sights. Have laughed a lot! Definitely books.

Perfect option for not taking the train. Very easy, very nice. Would recommend! - It was a perfect alternative to the train (we didn’t get tickets, but found out it was delayed by 3h). Our driver was on time, he was very kind and looked after us. We got picked up and dropped off at our places, we stopped at view points, and we even had a tour in a tea factory. I would definitely recommend this tour. Perfect symbiosis between comfort and nice views.

Too fast - Our driver did not give any information, not very communicative. How long is the stop? Where are we?
He drove way too fast the last hour. A lot of us got car sick in the end and felt very unsafe.
