A Journey Through Sri Lanka’s Tea Country

As a digital nomad, I’m always on the lookout for unique experiences that won’t break the bank. When I heard about the Tea Country Tour from Kandy, I knew it was something I had to try. A Stroll Through Little England

Our final destination was Nuwara Eliya, often referred to as ‘Little England’. The town’s colonial charm is evident in its Tudor-style architecture and well-manicured gardens. Walking through the streets felt like stepping back in time, and I couldn’t help but imagine the British pioneers who once roamed these paths.

One of the highlights was visiting the iconic Nuwara Eliya Post Office, a beautiful red-brick building that stands as a testament to the town’s rich history. As I wandered around, I stumbled upon Gregory Lake, a serene spot perfect for a leisurely stroll. The cool climate and picturesque surroundings made it a perfect end to the day.
