Great experience - Unfortunately our trip had to be cancelled due to heavy weather conditions. The team handled this very professionally and refunded our money promptly even cancellation happened after their deadline. We would always use the for a similar trip in the future.

Amazing! - Had an amazing experience exploring K’gari. The stops were well-timed, and our guide, Jeff, made sure everyone was comfortable. The history and stories about the island made it even more special.

Fantastic day enabling me to see all that K’Gari has to offer in one day. - A quick boat ride over after which we hit the sand and up the dirt road to the lake. The road is indeed bumpy but the 4 wheeled drive made it quite manageable. The tour guide Matt did a super job as it started lashing rain in the rainforest. Thankfully as we reached the lake the weather cleared up and got to experience the natural beauty of the lake. The lunch was lovely as well and Matt’s knowledge and explanation of the plants, animals and the stories of the island people. After that we headed back down and on to the beach and to the shipwreck. The guide gave a great background history on the shipwreck. We didn’t spend too long here as the infamous flies of Fraser Island kept flocking around. My favourite part was the river walk and the calmness that was there in the crisp clear water. The beach drive was of course magical - be prepared for a long day but a very wonderful one.

Great day tour - If you’re in Rainbow Beach or Noosa, don’t miss this tour! It’s the best way to see Fraser Island in a day. The guides were fantastic, and the scenery was unforgettable.

Amazing experience !... - Amazing experience ! The weather was perfect, K'gari Island just beautiful.
Jeff (our guide) was so fun, invested and made the Aussie experience even better.
Would absolutely recommand this tour with Discovery K'gari Adventure - and if you can, ask for Jeff !!

Friendly, humorous, and insightful - An unforgettable journey to a stunning and dramatic island! The experience was brought to life by Pete, our guide, whose friendly, humorous, and insightful commentary made the tour truly engaging. The two additional guides, Mateus and Al, were equally fantastic, adding their own charm and ensuring everyone had a memorable time.
While the day is packed to make the most of the island’s highlights, there’s plenty of opportunity to relax, capture amazing photos, and even take a refreshing swim in a breathtaking lake and a crystal-clear creek.
We were fortunate to spot wild dingoes on the island and were treated to dolphins accompanying us during the barge ride back to the mainland.
A unique adventure and absolutely worth every penny!

WHAT A GREAT TOUR!! - This was an amazing day out!!! Our bus driver Pete was an absolute legend was so informative, down to earth, friendly and up beat! Also Alan was fantastic and kept me company as a solo traveller on the way down to Lake Mackenzie and was so kind helping me to get a video down the lazy river and make sure I didn’t drop my phone!! Also the other tour guide Mats, all 3 guides were fantastic and best I have had! There was a great selection of food and drinks too and plenty to go round which was great as some tours there is hardly anything. I felt like we had a good amount of time at each spot too and saw 5 dingos which was so exciting!! This was a 5* day tour for sure and would recommend it so much!!

Awesome 1-day Fraser island trip. - It was great. Really enjoyed it. Saw two dingos, sea Eagles and a myriad of other birds.
Lake Mackenzie was amazing. The water was pristine.
Bring crocs or suitable footwear as the sand gets hot. Lots of sunscreen and a hat, best of all cover up.
You need short shorts to cross Eli Creek.
The guides are very friendly.

fascinating tour of K’gari island - We had a fabulous time on our tour!! It was a beautiful place to visit. We enjoyed the sights and especially the lake. Our tour guides Jeff and Pete were highly focused careful drivers, who took every precaution that we had a safe and comfortable ride. We were so lucky that they pointed out birds, insects and dingos along the way and we even spotted dolphin. The best part was the humorous bus ride! Great job guys

Nice. - 4WD on an island in a bus, swimming in lake McKenzie and Eli Creek, shipwreck Maheno, flora and fauna of the island and the wild view - fun but much on the bus and swimming is the only relaxation
