DAY 3: CHEFCHAOUEN - VOLUBILIS - MEKNES - FES
Volubilis - After breakfast at your riad, continue your journey towards Fes, stopping at the ancient Roman city of Volubilis via Ouazzan. Also, visit the Madrasa Bouanania, the Tanneries, and the Najjarine fountain.
Fes el-Bali - After a delicious lunch, continue the tour outside the Medina to see the Royal Palace entrance, stroll through the Jewish district “the Mellah,” and visit the pottery cooperative. Later, enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire Medina of Fes from one of the strongholds. Spend the night at the same riad.
DAY 5: FES, IFRANE, AZROU, MIDELT, ERFOUD, AND MERZOUGA
Ifrane - After breakfast, begin the journey south to the Merzouga desert, passing through Midelt and Errachidia. The first stop on the Grand Tour of Morocco is Ifrane, known as “the Switzerland of Morocco.”
Midelt - On the way to Merzouga, drive through the Ziz Valley and see the Middle and Higher Atlas mountains. Visit the famous cedar forest, the largest in Morocco and home to the Barbary macaques. As you approach Er Rachidia, the landscape changes, offering a glimpse of the desert. After lunch in Midelt, continue through the breathtaking Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views.
Merzouga - Travel through Berber villages to Erfoud and then Rissani, the birthplace of Morocco’s ruling royal family, the Alaouites. Gargantas del Todra - Upon arrival, meet your driver and head to the Tinghir and Todra Gorges, the highest and narrowest canyons in Morocco. Enjoy a scenic walk through the valley.

Vallee Des Roses - After breakfast, depart from the hotel and drive through the stunning Dades Valley towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate. This route, known as the “Way of a Thousand Kasbahs,” offers numerous opportunities for beautiful photographs. Stop at Kalaat Mgouna, the “Rose City,” to purchase rosewater, a popular local product that will keep your clothes smelling fresh long after your trip.
Ouarzazate - Depart for Ouarzazate and have lunch at the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, Morocco’s largest Kasbah and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, used as a setting for movies like “Lawrence of Arabia,” “Gladiator,” and “Game of Thrones.”
Marrakech - Continue the drive over the stunning Tizi n’ Tichka pass (2260 m) through the High Atlas Mountains, with possible stops at women’s cooperatives to learn about argan oil production before arriving at your hotel in Marrakech, where the tour concludes.
