Shukran! - I was a little nervous about participating in such a hands-on class because it was my first trip to Morocco, but the result was very correct and very satisfying! It was really fun, not only to eat delicious Moroccan food in the restaurant, but to try to make it ourselves! Mme Khadija was very kind and taught us to cook in a relaxed atmosphere, even teaching us a little Arabic. Even beginners who have never cooked much before were kind enough to teach me. The local plates and hot pots were cute, and there was a wide variety of spices, which was interesting. If I had the chance to come back, I would try other dishes! Thank you very much(^^)♪

Great food and hands on cooking - It's a taxi ride out or 40 minutes by L7 or L35 bus from the medina but well worth the effort. So much more fun cooking in a small group in a local's home and enjoying what we cooked for dinner, as opposed to some mass tourist kitchen. We were allowed to take notes as we cooked and took turns to cook a chicken tagine and bake bread. After 2.5 weeks in Morocco probably still one of our favourite meals. Shkran!

Take the Tastes of Morocco Home - I thoroughly enjoyed my cooking experience with Khadija. She is very adept at staging all the various dishes that accompanied our Chicken Tangine main dish. She gave great directions and techniques to allow me to make it at home. Sitting down after we plated all the food was very satisfying. It all tasted amazing! Khadija is a very generous hostess. What a great experience!

Don’t miss this! - Wonderful opportunity to help prepare and enjoy a delicious traditional Moroccan meal. Chef is very organized and has a great sense of humor. The spices used in preparing the zucchini and green beans made them the best we’ve ever eaten.

Fun experience! - This cooking class was great! I am vegetarian and there are plenty of vegetarian dishes you learn to make alongside the chicken tagine which you can also make vegetarian when you make it at home. We learned a lot and loved the chef/teacher. She was lovely. A great activity! Thanks, Mel

Not to be missed! - Chef Khadija has mastered the recipe for an amazing cooking class experience: a lifetime of practice, friendly hospitality, and sharing the joy of what you love. She and her son were delightful hosts. She is a skilled and patient teacher, making sure we captured all the many steps of making a delicious seafood pastilla and sending us home absolutely full of amazing food and memories.

Delicious and joyful! - Very friendly and nice experience! The best Moroccan meal you can have. We had very nice talks during cooking and dinner, and were taught a lot about the dishes and cooking processes. Everything was well prepared, and can’t put a finger on anything.
