Firstly, the concept of “Homestyle” is integrated into this cooking class with the aim of providing guests with the warmth and welcoming atmosphere of a Vietnamese local friend’s home, where they can learn, experience, and savor typical Vietnamese dishes.
Secondly, the “homestyle cooking class” is designed to resemble a family kitchen filled with care and love, so:
- We choose typical Vietnamese dishes that are authentic and healthy, using no MSG and fresh ingredients daily.
- The dishes selected for the menu are easy to make at home, ensuring you can recreate them after learning in Hoa’s Kitchen.
- During the cooking lesson, participants will prepare 3 traditional Vietnamese dishes from scratch. Initially, guidance will be provided on the best preparation methods, followed by a step-by-step walkthrough of the entire cooking process, sharing secret tips for the best results. After cooking, everyone will sit down together to enjoy the home-cooked Vietnamese meal.

Making memories with my daughter in law! - My daughter in law, Ngoc and I took Ms. Hoa's class and throughly enjoyed every minute. I have always wanted to learn to make pho and cha goi and I am so thankful for all of her insights and tricks to make this when I get back home to the US. I have taken other cooking classes in Vietnam and this class was so wonderful as everything was explained in detail and you get to cook in her kitchen.. What could be better than learning how to cook Vietnamese food from a Vietnamese chef in a Vietnamese home? If you want to learn in an intimate setting and making wonderful memories do not hesitate to take this cooking class. If I have time while I am here in Vietnam I will try to squeeze another class in with Ms. Hoa and learn different dishes.

Amazing Cooking Class with Stunning Views! - This cooking class was an absolute highlight! The food was simply fantastic, and we had a wonderful time preparing and enjoying it. What made it even more special were the long, lovely conversations we had while taking in the breathtaking view. A truly unforgettable experience— we highly recommend it!

The best!! - Hoas cooking class was the best cooking class we have ever experienced. We made delicious food, she helped us through everything and had lots of great chats on the way! Her English was amazing. The views from her apartment was amazing. It felt like a genuine experience going into her home and cooking together.
The food was fresh, delicious and prepared in a clean environment.
Learnt way more than just how to cook, we learnt about the Vietnamese culture and learnt a lot about Hoa herself.
Couldn’t recommend this experience more!

Great food, lovely host - My friend and I took Hoà’s cooking class during a stay in HCMC with our families. We had a great time during the class and learned to cook delicious chicken pho, vegan spring rolls, and Vietnamese pancakes. Hoà was lovely and welcoming. We even came away with a bonus pair of cooking chopsticks!

Amazing food - We had the best time with Hoà, cooking and learning about vietnamese dishes. She explained everything really well, the food was great and I learned a lot! I can only recommend if you want to have a really authentic cooking class experience. Thank you Hoà!

The best cooking class in Saigon - tasty, personal & unforgettable! - We booked this course because we wanted to get some insights into the cooking and traditional recipes of Vietnam.
To put it simply: I don’t think any other course could have supplied us with such a great experience. Hoa, the host and owner was so kind to us and helped us really understand Vietnamese cuisine. In the end, this was therefore not only a super tasty, but instead also a super personal experience. We loved it!
Hoa places a tremendous amount of emphasis on describing cultural aspects of Vietnamese cuisine and is also very interested in the cultures of her guests.
I can only say: book this course, you will not regret it!
