Mr Phil took us to coconut island and unicorn island. We loved the view at the banks of the Mekong river. Overall an amazing exp - We had a beautiful experience today at Mekong Delta. Mr Phil is an amazing guide. The tour was full of fun and we enjoyed every bit of it. Too good I must say.

100% MUST DO experience with excellent tour guide Luna (The Sun Tourist) - This day trip was really amazing and a 100 % MUST DO for everyone. It was excellent value for the money. Our guide Luna was excellent. She kept us entertained and informed through the whole trip. We got picked up from our hotel at 8AM and took a boat to Mekong river where we first went to unicorn island and had morning tea (tea and local fruits) whilst listening to traditional music. Then went to another island where we got to see a bee farm, enjoyed honey tea and got to hold the bee hives on the wooden block and see the bees up close. If that wasn't exciting enough, we got to pet the friendly snake and wrap the 10Kg snake around our neck and carry it. Surrounding us was all the beautiful scenery of the islands, the river, the locals. After that we saw the coconut factory where they made coconut sweets, coconut biscuits and enjoyed nice coconut icecream. We got to try peeling the coconut for hands on experience. The coconut sweets and icecream was super tasty. Then we went on a smaller boat again to another island from which we took a smaller boat (4 passengers per boat with a local who paddled ) for a quiet mekong river relaxing cruise. It was fantastic. We got to row the boat with a paddle too. A huge lunch was provided for us. Didn't have to wait long. For 7 of us we had 8 big plates of food which was great. We got to explore the crocodiles and snakes area and went for a bike ride through the island. There was an obstacle course over the water for the daring people. Then took the boat ride back (nice coconut drink was waiting for us) and bus took us to Vinh Trang Pagoda - beautiful and peaceful place.

Great experience - Mekong Delta - Had an amazing trip with the best tour guide, Khang H. He holds a lot of knowledge about Vietnamese culture and history, and seemed genuinely interested in making the day as good as possible for us. He is a comfortable person to spend a whole day with. The activities througout the day was also beyond expected.

Perfect tour - It was perfect , everything prepared, on time, excellent guide, great experience. February was good time as there was no mosquito.

Great day nice views :) - Very nice experience, however it is super touristic :D you don’t have to worry about anything you are dropped and certain places, you have lunch etc, but it doesn’t give you the inside flavour. Personally I would prefer it to be less organised but for example longer boat time, further into the canals :)
