After a 1.5-hour drive to Cu Chi village, you’ll learn in detail how the Viet Cong built the tunnels, how they managed to win the war despite severe shortages of food and medicine, and what exactly transpired in that area during the war….
- Cu Chi Tunnels - 07:30 – 8:00 am: Your guide will pick you up at your hotel and depart for the Cu Chi tunnels. After a 1.5-hour drive to Cu Chi village, you’ll learn in detail how the Viet Cong built the tunnels, how they managed to win the war despite severe shortages of food and medicine, and what exactly transpired in that area during the war. The Cu Chi Tunnels served as a safe haven for soldiers and thousands of Vietnamese during the Vietnam War. 11:30 am: Conclude the Cu Chi Tunnels tour and proceed to the Mekong Delta. - Ben Luc - 12:30 pm: Enjoy a barbecue and learn how to cook from a local chef. Menu Lunch 1. Vegetable soup (súp rau) 2. Spring rolls (chả giò) 3. BBQ shrimp (tôm nướng) 4. BBQ Chicken (gà nướng) 5. Pancakes (bánh xèo) 6. Mixed fried vegetables with garlic (rau xào thập cẩm) 7. Steamed rice (Cơm trắng) 8. Dessert (tráng miệng) - My Tho - 2:30 pm: Board a boat and travel on the Mekong River to the bee farm. You’ll have the chance to enjoy honey tea and take photos with a python and finger bananas, which are typical in the Mekong Delta. Relax by rowing a boat on a small, peaceful canal to reach a local cultural house and enjoy “Đờn Ca Tài Tử” – a unique aspect of Southern culture. Then, visit the coconut candy factory to see how farmers make coconut sweets. 4:00 pm: On the way back to your bus, pass by the fishing village with many floating houses to observe the life of fishermen. 4:30 pm: Return to Ho Chi Minh City. The tour ends at your hotel. Amazing Experience - We had an amazing experience with Milo as our guide in Ho Chi Minh City! He took us to the historic Cu Chi Tunnels, where we learned about the fascinating and intense history of the Vietnam War. Milo explained everything in such detail, really bringing the story to life. Afterward, he took us to a beautiful restaurant surrounded by lush gardens—an absolute treat to relax in such a lovely spot.
Our adventure continued with a boat trip on the Mekong River to Unicorn Island, where we saw how coconut candies and juice are made. Milo was incredibly patient with our family, especially with our kids who had endless questions. He answered each one with kindness and enthusiasm, making the trip even more enjoyable for them. Thanks to Milo, we had a memorable and enriching experience. Highly recommend

The perfect trip for those short on time! - The best!
A great way to see the highlights of both the Cu Chi Tunnel and Mekong Delta. Perfect for those short on time.
Our guide Dennis was very attentive from the night prior organising our pick ups from the hotels and all throughout the tour to the very end.
A big shoutout to our driver as well for making the journey very comfortable!
Very knowledgable and shared many insights on the history of Vietnam and the locations themself.
The tour had a lot to offer for the price we paid, definitely worth it!

Great experience - I had a really good time and the guide Chow was very attentive and friendly , I enjoyed the túnela but I had a little back pain so I had to go out soon :( .

Cu chi tunnel and Mekong river trip - Jack is helpful and informative we requested vegetarian lunch and Jack arranged for us. It was a great experience for us. We got to learn things about Vietnam’s history.

Amazing for everybody - We had a wonderfull experience today! A nice combination of history, culture and food kept us the whole day exited! Besides our guide Dennis was the best guide for everybody! He was really enthusiastic and gave many interesting facts about his country. Would highly recommend!
