Fantastic tour of Ecuador - Absolutely amazing experience and highly recommended. Our tour guide Wilson and driver Homero were amazing. Wilson was incredibly knowledgeable and happy to show off all of the highlights of Ecuador. He was great with our kids and kept them engaged and interested. The landscapes and food were unforgettable. The Andean highlands and culture were varied and unlike anything we have seen before. This is a section of Ecuador not to be missed. The hotels selected were amazing, comfortable with a rich history and impeccable hospitality. The itinerary was well thought out but flexible. We decided to extend our trip and Wilson worked with Javier to plan everything and ensure the best possible experience. I cannot say enough good things about this trip, the tour company, and especially the guides.

Unforgettable 🤩🤩🤩 - I would absolutely recommend the best Cuenca tours. We had an amazing experience with Lincoln, one of the best tour guide (knowledgeable, kind, patient, interested in knowing us, great driver..) I’ve had the chance to encounter - and I’ve traveled quite a bit. Everything was exceptional, well organized and we did get to visit and enjoy the best places of the area. I would definitely recommend upgrading to the higher end option as the hotels were also very nice, charming, comfortable and with great service and delicious food! Our second guide Wilson was just as great although we had less time with him, he went way out of his way to also take very good care of us. If you want a stress free amazing experience, these are hands down the guys to go with

Five days four nights hiking and exploring - Quito to Cuenca - My husband and I had Sebastian as our guide for the whole trip. Sebastian was great and spoke very good English so we could chat really easily with him. Sebastian was very amenable, knowledgeable and friendly., He judged our abilities and matched the activities to suit. It was good that we did some reasonably challenging hiking so we felt we had achieved something each day. We had some great lunches and stayed in interesting places and rach day there was something new. We found out an amazing amount about the country. The trip met our expectations and beyond.

Incredible experience with many thanks to Cuenca BestTours and its people!! - Ecuadorian Andes 4-day tour! My wife and I had an AMAZING 4-day trip in the Ecuadorian Andes. We would like to THANK Javier (the owner of the company) and our two tour guides Lincoln and Luis for this amazing trip! I have never seen such a personalized support - before, during and after the trip - before, so I want to give my special regards to Javier for this! Before we even booked this trip - we just declared some interest - Javier offered to talk over the phone, explain the itinerary and address any question we might had. We also provided to us with great advice about what to pack, bring, wear etc. The organization of the trip was just perfect. In the morning of our first day, Lincoln came and picked us from our hotel in Quito and started a wonderful trip in the Avenue of Volcanoes. Lincoln has been a great company, a great guide and an incredible person during our trip from Quito to Riobamba. We explored/hiked Cotopaxi, Quilotoa, Banos, several other Ecuadorian towns and waterfalls, we went to local markets. He was very patient with us, addressing any wish we had about places to visit etc. All the different restaurants we went (included in the package) were amazing, the food was incredible and very big plates, and the hotels were also very nice! This trip has been a wonderful experience, as I think that the Andes/highlands is the true heart of Ecuador. Meeting all these indigenous tribes and people, wearing traditional clothing, eating in traditional taverns... great memories for the rest of our lives. With Lincoln, we travelled until the town of Riobamba. The last day, Luis (another wonderful guide/driver) picked us from our hotel in Riobamba to Cuenca, as he knew better the places (he is a local resident), we visited the Incas ruins, we stopped in many places view points and had great discussions about the local culture of Ecuador. I think whatever review I could make for this company and these people is very pour compared to the quality of service we received. We were and felt totally SAFE, we had amazing travel company with our guides, and Javier was the best person to help you book a trip (we booked another wonderful trip in Galapagos). Thank you all guys!! Galapagos Islands 4-day tour We had a great time in Galapagos, and a big part of this was due to the Cuenca Best Tours, the company we booked this trip (we booked a 4-day tour in the Ecuadorian Andes with the same company too). Javier is the owner of this company and I admit that I have never seen such a personalized support from any other travel company. His support before, during and after our trip was just incredible. Before we booked this trip, Javier offered us to talk over the phone and go over the itinerary, explain the days/tours and address any question we may had. Galapagos is a special region in Ecuador and tour are ran by local companies only due to the regulations. However, Javier organized everything fantastically. He had one person come to the Baltra airport (just to help us with our luggage and our short trip to Santa Cruz island (you have to take a bus and small taxi boat), and then a taxi driver to the Santa Cruz island. He had a great stop to a ranch where we enjoyed our lunch and came close with the huge galapagos turtles! Later we went to our beutiful hotel. Before each day, Javier contacted us over the phone to go over the schedule for the next day, explain to us everything we needed to know, he was constantly present to translate if needed etc. He is just fantastic! He had a great time in the islands during these 4 days, and I want to thank again many-many times for his support!!

Fantastic company. Highly recommended - I can't recommend Cuenca Best Tours highly enough!! From the initial enquiry through to booking and exploring Ecuador Javier and his team have been fantastic! The tour ensured we saw all of the highlights in the area and more. The hotels selected for us were fabulous and our guide Lincoln took us on some great hikes. Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to finish our tour early and return to Quito but Javier was very understanding and quickly altered the arrangements, took good care of us and ensured we arrived back in Quito on time. If you want to explore Ecuador safely, comfortably and make the best use of your time book with Cuenca Best Tours.

Wonderful tour by Cuenca Bestours - My husband and I did the 5-day, 4 night tour from Quito to Cuenca and we couldn't have been happier with the trip. Javier was easy to work with (even when I changed my mind a million times) and accommodated our interests and my choices for accommodations. Ecuador is a beautiful country and we enjoyed every bit of it - the mountains/volcanoes, visiting with a local indigenous family, the historical sites, the walks, the rapelling in Banos - our tour seemed well thought out and went very smoothly. It was wonderful to have breakfast and lunch provided every day, allowing us to sample local cuisine and leaving us to decide what to have for dinner. A huge shout out to our guide, Sebastian - he was very personable and knowledgeable, and very willing to answer our multitude of questions. Since we spent a fair amount of time in the car together, we learned a tremendous amount about Ecuador's politics, culture, views on women, history, economy, and customs - it was like we had a crash course on the country and we enjoyed it all. Sebastian was a perfect guide (and a very good driver, too) and he reflects well on Cuenca Bestours. All in all, our pre-Galapagos trip was wonderful and I highly recommend Cuenca Bestours to anyone looking for an introduction to the beautiful country of Ecuador.

Great Trip with Cuenca Bestours - We did a 6 day superior level trip from Quito to Cuenca after spending 2 weeks in the Galapagos. The drive through the Avenue of the Volcanoes is spectacular and provides an awesome counterpoint to the islands. We had 2 amazing guides, Lincoln and Sebastian. They provided extensive information about everything we saw and visited and were always ready to modify the trip to meet our needs and expectations. The accommodations were excellent and the food was always local and delicious. Booking the trip was easy and Javier was always prompt in getting back to us. We highly recommend Cuenca Bestours.
