Best food tour and more - My wife and I usually go on a food tour wherever we travel and this might be the best one we’ve ever done. Ecuadorean food is incredible and the tour took us to places we never would have found on our own. More than that, our guide Santiago was the best tour guide we’ve ever had. He was incredibly insightful. While it may have been a food tour, we learned so much about Ecuadorian culture, history, art, and politics— it really helped us start off of our visit to Ecuador. Can’t recommend enough, muchos gracias Santiago!

Great food tour! - This was a great food tour and Santiago was an excellent guide. We've found a great way to learn about a region and culture is through its cuisine. This tour did not disappoint. It was a wonderful experience! Santiago was friendly and very knowledgeable. All our stops were interesting, the food provided was delicious and plentiful (do not eat before this tour!), and Santiago provided a wonderful overview of Ecuadorian culture. He chose delicious spots to introduce us to the local food and drink. He also pointed out several sights along the way including an interesting street with beautiful street art and an artist coop. A bit pricey but well worth the cost. Highly recommend.

A must do tour for any foodie or visitor to Quito - We always enjoy a foodie walking tour early in visiting a new city. This Quito version excelled thanks to Santi, our guide. We were exposed to more unique foods than imaginable. Ecuador is truly a foodie paradise. Santi also introduced us to the local art scene and it's impressive graffiti.

The best tour to see the streets and food of Quito - It was a wonderful experience! It is the best way to get to know the streets of Quito and everything we ate was delicious! We still talked about the wind patties that were the richest we have ever eaten! I recommend this tour for everyone - and I recommend you don't come hungry.

A tour for someone who doesn’t like tours (but who loves street food) - It’s like no other tour I’ve been on, more like hanging out with a friend who just happens to be an expert in street food and Ecuadorian culture, and loves to show one all of it. Loved it all, from the first zip of that first drink to the wind empanadas (still dreaming of them).

Highly recommend Santiago as a guide - It was a pleasant surprise to have Santiago as my tour guide for the second time during my trip. He took me to more places than I expected and all were unique in their own way. Not only did I get to try new and delicious foods, we visited a small gallery for a coffee tasting, saw lots of great street art and two incredible markets. Santiago was very knowledgeable about architecture and local history. He also helped me pick out local music CDs. All in all, it was a delightful experience.

Overpriced - Very good sample of street foods of Ecuador but terribly overpriced. We paid 400 dollars for 3 people and the food cost in total couldn’t have been more than 50 dollars (and likely much less). The guide was fine but the tour was a ripoff.
