Quito - Our adventure to Cotopaxi National Park kicks off in Quito, where our guide will pick you up right from your hotel.
Cotopaxi Province - Upon reaching Cotopaxi National Park, you’ll encounter diverse vegetation. With some luck, you might spot the Andean condor soaring above the paramos and capture some stunning photos. On the way to Cotopaxi, you can explore the lower slopes of the volcano or enjoy a hike through the natural beauty.
Cotopaxi Volcano - Start the journey in comfortable transportation, traveling through the “Avenue of the Volcanoes,” a captivating route known for its mountainous scenery and numerous volcanoes, and continue towards the Cotopaxi volcano.
Laguna de Limpiopungo - Next, we head to the Limpiopungo Lagoon, a glacial lake with pristine waters in the heart of Cotopaxi National Park. Here, we’ll take an exhilarating walk around the lagoon, admiring the rich biodiversity that makes this protected area so special.
Papallacta - We’ll make a brief stop at the Papallacta Paramo to observe the Andean Paramo and the Antisana Volcano. This spot is an excellent viewpoint and the highest point where a wide variety of flora can be found.
Termas de Papallacta - After exploring Cotopaxi, we’ll head to the Papallacta Hot Springs in the province of Napo. Here, you can relax in a natural spa surrounded by stunning landscapes. The therapeutic pools, rich in minerals, are beneficial for your health.
