The Journey Begins: Into the Heart of Cotopaxi

As the first light of dawn crept over Quito, I found myself eagerly awaiting the adventure that lay ahead. The Cotopaxi Volcano Quest with CarpeDM Adventures had been on my radar for some time, and the day had finally arrived to experience it firsthand. Our guide, Alejandro, picked us up promptly at 7:30 AM, and we set off towards the Cotopaxi National Park.
