Go out with these guys! - This was a great experience! We got a little turned around in Jaguar Park trying to find the spot to meet. But once we found German and his crew, who were kind enough to wait for us, we had such a great time! We saw sea turtles, rays, so many colorful reef fish, even a blowfish! The coral was all stunning, it was wonderful to see the diversity underwater. I highly recommend these guys, they know the food spots!

Loved the experience - Tulum Snorkel Services is a "10" 🤩 - We loved our 2 hour trip and saw fish, stingrays and turtles galore - Tulum Snorkel Services is a 10! Things we loved about the experience: - easy to book - great communication from the tour operator - we knew what to bring and what to expect before the trip - safety first - our group had varying levels of snorkel experience and everyone felt safe because our tour guides were the best! - first stop was on the shoreline below the Tulum ruins where the best family picture was taken - two more stops (45 minutes each) were made to see fish/coral and then stingrays/sea turtles with more fish/coral. The turtles and stingrays swam so close that we could nearly touch them - amazing experience! - everyone had plenty of time to see everything they wanted. An hour tour would not have been enough. Tulum Snorkel Services is located within the Jaguar Park area and the tour operator will tell you there are two ways to arrive at the meeting point. Read and follow the instructions!! If the weather is very hot, I strongly suggest route A where you park your car for free in Jaguar Park, purchase the park tickets ($415 MX per person for foreigners) and then take the free electric bus to Playa Pescadero, and walk for 5 minutes to arrive at the meeting point. On our way back to our car, our park tickets allowed us to visit the Jaguar Park museum for free (good exhibits!). Route B requires you to park your car at the hotel area, pay the guards to be able to park your car, purchase park tickets, and then walk for ~25 minutes to the meeting point. Disposable water bottles and plastic are not allowed in the Jaguar Park (the park security checks your bags!) so bring water in a reusable bottle. When you are snorkeling for ~2 hours, your entire backside is at higher risk of getting sunburned. So instead of reef-safe sunscreen, consider bringing a UV-protective sun shirt and sun shorts. Bathrooms and showers are available for use, so bring an extra set of dry clothes to change into after the trip. Would we do this tour again with Tulum Snorkel Services - absolutely!

Absolutely amazing experience in Tulum. - This trip was the highlight of my holiday as the crew care for the environment as well as know how to care for the visitors they take out to the turtles. We were greeted by friendly staff and set of in the boat to then go snorkeling surrounded by turtles and a few stingrays which was amazing. We didn't touch them but they came so close to us you feel like you are which was fantastic. Had a second stop with coral and smaller fishes before heading back. Great tour.

Romantic snorkel with historical Ruins - It was our best snorkeling experience so far. The guides were telling us about the history of the Ruins and the maya. I really liked that we first stopped in front of the Ruins with the boat. We took pictures there and then we continued to the Riffs. It was amazing to see the lively ocean! We saw turtles, sting-rays and many Fishes. On that day It was very romantic since it was only my husband and I.

Amazing Snorkeling Experience + Day in Jaguar Park - Fantastic experience that exceeded any expectations we may have had. From booking the trip to leaving the beach afterward, Tulum Snorkeling Services was top-notch in customer service. Several days prior to the trip, German messaged me with lots of information about getting to the meeting point and avoiding any missteps along the way. If you follow his clear and detailed instructions, it was be a breeze. He sent this info again on the morning of and we had our plan down on how to get there, leaving time to account for anything confusion, though there was none. We arrived at Jaguar Park and parked in the North Parking lot, which was free. We entered the park and took an electric vehicle (the park supplies this service to all visitors) to Playa Pescadores to meet our guide. Getting to the beach was super easy from the North Park entrance and the staff are helpful. The ride through the park is also beautiful! The boat ride out to the snorkeling spots was smooth, and has a beautiful view of the Tulum ruins. Our guide stopped the boat and took our photo against the backdrop, too! The first stop of the snorkeling trip was an area that had numerous turtles and massive rays swimming underneath us. Our guide showed us where the turtles were and they swan around us and were very friendly. There were other snorkelers but it wasn’t overcrowded, and we got to swim with the animals for about an hour. Our guide swam ahead of us and led us to the best spots! It was absolutely surreal to see the animals in their natural habitat, and some of the turtles even swam up to us and gave us a little pat on the leg! The second stop was a beautiful reef area that was full of thousands of fish of many types, sizes, and colors. Exploring the reef was incredible and our guide was extremely helpful here as well. It was great to have the contrast of the reef with coral and plant life alongside the first stop that was open water. They really picked the best spots to get the full experience. We swam here for a bit under an hour; perfect amount of time. I can’t overstate how in awe we were regarding the snorkeling and animal life. This was truly one of the most incredible experiences I’ve ever had in my life, and I’m very grateful to our guides and Tulum Snorkeling for giving us a one-of-a-kind lasting memory. Some tips I’d like to share: As stated in the description for this trip, you do have to pay the park entrance fee. It was around 455 pesos for each adult. My suggestion is to combine your snorkeling day with a visit to the park! We saw the ruins after our snorkeling trip, and did so by taking the same electric vehicle with other park visitors after we left Playa Pescadores. You can enter the ruins until 4pm, and they close at 5. Depending on how long you want to spend in the park (there are other beaches, the ruins, a museum, and shops) you could go before or after snorkeling. It’s a great way to get your money’s worth from the entrance ticket and check off an item on your Tulum list at the same time. It made for a perfect day. Thank you again to Tulum Snorkeling services for this trip. I can’t recommend this experience enough for anyone coming to Tulum, you will have a fantastic time and a deeper love of the ocean and marine life.

Fantastic Snorkeling off Tulum Beach - Our family of five had an unforgettable snorkeling experience just off the coast near Tulum Beach. We explored two different spots, each offering stunning underwater life. We swam alongside sea turtles and rays, encountered countless colorful fish species, and got an up-close look at vibrant coral reefs. We also spotted various types of large shells and admired the beauty of the corals in their natural habitat. The wonderful crew made the experience even better. The boat operators and the tour guide were incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. They made us feel safe and welcomed, ensuring that we had the best possible experience.

Great - Very friendly people and they gave us a good time. would love to come back in the non-seaweed season. The sea turtles were amazing and you saw a lot of stingrays.. Not so much tropical fish, but there was some too.

You’ll be disappointed - Our reservation was scheduled for 2pm. We were told to arrive 15-20 minutes early. We arrived at 1:30 to be safe. We didn’t get on the boat until 2:36. Apparently a woman on the boat before us brought her baby and the baby got sick. It says ages 5 and up so they could have said no, to avoid this delay. There is a nice restaurant where mom and baby could’ve waited. We saw 2 turtles and our entire trip was only one hour, by 3:36 we were back. I had my head down because the motion was rough and by the time I looked up we were back. I even asked him are we going to 2 places before we boarded and he said yes. Only one just like another review said. This was my children’s first experience ages 9 and 12 and it was so sad. I have had amazing experiences in Belize and Colombia. My son was the youngest and the guide wasn’t very attentive to him. I even saw other companies with helpful guides. It’s almost like he was on his own little tour he let us know where the turtles were just the two and that was it. We saw no fish or rays. There are so many positive reviews but the negative ones are unfortunately accurate. I was on the boat with other people and they also expressed their disappointment.
