Milo Rocks! - Milo was our tour guide and he was amazing! I’m 6’4” 240 and did the Zip Lines, Rappel and cave hike/swim. Absolutely stunning. Full day and a good sweat. Highly recommend this excursion for a break in your vacation.

Grateful and Thankful - We had an amazing adventure with Giselle and Luciano. We felt safe during the whole experience. Giselle was very knowledgeable of the caves and was able to answer all of our questions. I'm not sure I even have the words to describe the caves. They were almost magical. I'm so glad we took the walking stick as there was a lot of uneven ground, and it helped while walking through the water to avoid any hidden rocks. The water felt a little cool at first but was very refreshing. Would definitely recommend this tour.

Excellent activity highly recommend - Excellent event and guide, Jennifer! An hour and half underground river tour was exiting! The only drawback was they don’t allow your own photos, and their photos costs your arms and legs

Must do - This was an experience of a lifetime! The caves and the ruins were both amazing!!! Our tour guide Imeldia was so great. We brought our 8 and 11 year olds and they were able to navigate the caves, no problem.

A Great Experience - The first thing you should know is that you must have excellent balance and be able to walk on all shapes of rocks that are not really visible. We are in our 70s and in good physical health, however, this excursion was too difficult for us. We were in the cave for over an hour after walking on uneven surfaces a good distance to get there. It’s in the jungle and the day we were there we stood around for quite awhile before we began. It was a bit disorganized. If you are young and spry I’d say definitely go for it. If you are older and not sure ask first because I think there are tours inside the cave just for swimming for people who are mobility challenged. Life jackets are supplied. To me the cold water was nice and made me feel energized. It’s about 62 degrees in the water.

What I like and dislike about Rio Secreto - The river is amazing but you are not allowed to take pictures inside the cave and they do but sell them to you for $30 dollars each. The food from the buffet was not good the chips were hard to chew and there was no good desserts only lemon pie plus they do a weird ceremony before starting asking permission to the cave spirits which goes against my beliefs, so happy they told me it was optional so I didn't participate. What I liked was that I felt safe at all times, everybody was nice especially the guide I think her name is Amalia and the cave is amazing.
