Best day in paradise - We had such an amazing time!!! Such beautiful sensory ! There was 7 of us and 2 ATVs! They accommodated everything for us. Took us to ride in the forest . After we went to a private beach and had our own seating ready for us and food was included ! Our tour guide was awesome. I really really recommend this excursion!

Loved Our Tour - The Mayan Ruin tour was really awesome. We loved the flexibility of our tour, and got to see things that were not on the tour. You just have to ask. We also loved the chocolate stop where we bought our first Cuban cigar which was awesome. We had a lot of fun riding through the jungle on ATV’s. Fernando, our guide was awesome and very knowledgeable.

Last Minute Trip Change - Our ship was rerouted which led to us needing to book excursions on the fly and missing the ones that we chose and booked months ago. We were thankful for any availability and felt like this was the most comprehensive option we saw. Our guide (Diego) was late picking us up, so a little anxiety to start, but they answered the number provided and reassured us that he was on his way. We followed him to the parking lot and picked up our jeep. The AC worked and water was provided as the description mentions. We travelled to the Mayan Ruins where we had a guided tour and paid another $35 for the guide. DON’T FORGET MOSQUITO REPELLENT! After this we went to the ATV/Polaris pickup and were introduced to our guide there. We also felt it necessary to tip this guy (Coco) as he was the one who got muddy with us and showed us a good time. The tequila and chocolate tasting was located in this little village and another guide (Daniel) showed us through here. We went to the lunch and beach next and were pretty disappointed in this stop. You are only allowed to choose from a limited menu, no drinks included, and the restaurant was incredibly crowded and hot with no air flow and a pool where kids splashed us throughout our meal. Mostly, just know that you’ll need to bring extra money to tip at every place and since you’re driving separately from your primary guide, you really won’t have much interaction with him or receive any info about the island as you may be used to with a van tour. As a family of 5, this was a lot to spend on a tour and probably set us up with unrealistic expectations, but we learned to limit our chosen excursions to 4hrs or less and are glad that we were able to make the best of an unexpected diversion.

Not what was advertised or expected. - So, it wasn’t a Jeep, no biggie. We spent the first two hours driving from place to place. Each place was one sales pitch after another. The tequila tasting was nothing but buying $120 bottles of local tequila. We were repeatedly discouraged from actually stopping at the Mayan Ruins. It’s rained, there’s going to be mosquitoes . It’ll take 45 minutes to walk the 3K etc. Eventually we get to the entrance. He pulls past the entrance. Again says, you don’t want to go right? He says there’s a charge. We clarify again we paid for it and want to go. He backs up and takes up there. At the entrance he again tells us there’s not much to see, then says it’ll cost $16. At this time, we’re done. Fine, let’s go back. I wonder if he got to pocket the entrance fee money? We stop at a beach area where we’re told we have to pay extra for chairs. We have to find him when we’re ready to leave. He’s socializing with friends across the street. We FINALLY arrive to where we think we’ll ride the RzR. He’s like, you stay here for 1 1/2 hours first then we can ride. We’ve already been on this tour 3 1/2 hours! No, we want to do it now. He agreed. The RzR ride was about 20 minutes down a public road, onto a dirt road passing by a waste water plant then onto a narrow path then back the same public street. Definitely not what we thought. We did have a choice of fajitas or tacos for lunch. Very good. Although, no drink was included. I wouldn’t recommend.

Not the best - The tour guide did his best to provide a good tour. However 2/3 things were cancelled due to weather. This is not the fault of the company, but I am sure they were able to check prior to taking us out (there was standing flooding) and the adjust rather than taking us out and seeing things were closed. It wasted a day for us. Then we requested a partial refund because we were unable to see the atv and myan ruins and are not getting a response from Viator. They should have automatically given us the refund. The food at the end of the tour was horrible. They took us to a resort type place that charged us 8USD for a water and can of coke.

Description different from the real activity, I do not recommend this publication - I find myself disagreeing with the description and activities that appear in this publication because it is not what is actually done on the tour at the time.
I would like to clarify first of all that the service provider had no knowledge of the activities in this publication or the itinerary, however, I want to make it clear that our guide named Irving was very kind, concerned and professional in being able to remedy this problem and try to adapt the activity to what we could be as satisfied as possible after the bitter pill of this news.
- They picked us up at the hotel at a different time than the one published on this page, because they were booked at a different time.
- The Razer activity (which is very different from the one published) is only on a circuit to go around on terraces and there is NO tour around the island or to the lighthouse, which by the way is NOT in the tour offered either. by the tour service provider so we did not know him or get even close to that area for a moment.
- The activities of the ruins and the tequila tour were completed, as well as the visit to the beach club in which only the meal was carried out, which includes a dish without drinks, which later has a somewhat excessive price, being around $460 pesos per drink.
- The weather did not completely allow snorkeling in the area and it could not be adjusted with another activity.
In general I would not recommend this publication since it does not adapt to the itinerary they advertise and the price is not worth it for the activities actually carried out, preferable to rent a jeep, razer or other option on your own.

Do not book tours w/o meetup details - The tour did not present an agenda for where/when to meet up with tour guides. Tour guide did NOT respond to direct message asking for details prior to the event happening. Currently, requesting full refund through Viator directly.
