Great guide! - Bring bug repellent! Besides that, it was a magical experience with Alex. He was super knowledgeable and had a great personality. He did the tour in English and Spanish which we really appreciated. We were a family of 5 ranging from 9-41. Everyone loved it.

Water Stars - This swim with the bioluminescence algae was one of the most amazing things that I have done. When they say it is water stars they aren't kidding! If you are looking for something to add to your bucket list that you will never forget this is the one you want to add! Our guide was highly educated about the algae and was able to answer all the questions that we had.

Bioluminescence tour - Alex was amazing. We had a great night to see the constellations. Very informative not only about the sky but also the bioluminescence. Would highly recommend this trip. Alex was very patient and explained every thing twice. Once in English and again in Spanish.

Our best Holbox experience! - Alejandro Flores was our guide, it was by far the best experience on the island (during the day we swam with the whale shark).
It was a clear night that allowed us to also enjoy the stars.
Alejandro’s attention and experience were essential, he interestingly explained the phenomenon of bioluminescence and shared his knowledge about stars and constellations.
The diver’s suit you provided helped us avoid mosquitoes and cold as we left the lagoon, I think your equipment and experience were fundamental to our pleasant experience. We definitely recommend Alejandro's service to enjoy this great phenomenon!!

Shine bright like a diamond đź’Ž - Alex was an awesome guide, pointing out constellations in the night sky and explaining how the plankton undergo biochemical reactions to produce the bioluminescent glow! He picked us up promptly and provided wet suits and water shoes for the tour. Very fun and informative!

The best service and the best experience!!!! - The excellent service from Alex the guide, since they pass by you in cars, give you wetsuit, masks and sea shoes, we have done it before with another company and definitely Holbox Experience, is the best option!!! 100% recommended!!! You have to do it!!!

Just walk there! No guide needed lol! - JUST WALK THERE !
It's 20min, from the center of Holbox to the West end of the island !
Nice easy walk under the star. No need of a transportation or a guide.
YOU DON'T NEED ANY GEAR!
Wetsuit?! I like to have the luminescent plancton slide down my skin.
Mask & snorkel?! It's 30cm deep, full of mud, by night and you can't use light:
you won't see anything underwater.
Shoes?! It's a muddy beach
You only need mosquito repellent.
US$37 per person is ridiculously expensive and you don't need ANY gear.

Scam, nothing to do with bioluminescence - Biggest scam ever. They can sell it about going for a walk to watch the stars but it has nothing to do with the bioluminescence.
Not fair for tourists, it isn’t nice…
