Unique "Real" City tour. The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. Recommend! - Took a short tour of the city via dune buggy. Our guides showed us the good, the bad, and the ugly parts of the area. The less "touristy" area is struggling with trash washing up on their beaches and they don't have the resources to get it under control. Our guide looked like George Clooney and was very interesting to listen to. We experienced authentic tequila (tasting) and learned how it's made. Strawberry was my favorite. We ended the day on a Blue Kay Beach resort. Enjoyed a simple lunch of tacos & rice next to Beautiful beach with clear, aqua water (no trash).

Dune Buggy had idle issues which may have been an issue with some but I was able to work thru it. - Jorge was great! Tequila tour was interesting and informative. Last minute booking was accommodated with little difficulty. Recommended!

Buggying Around Cozumel - Had a great excursion driving a dune buggy all around Cozumel. Down to Punta Sur with the lagoon, light house and beach for lunch. Back along the rough beached east coast to the Tequila museum and a city tour back to the ship. Great job by Carlos Escamilla and his partner Fernando to keep everyone safe and engaged. Had an issue with a family that needed to get back early and they smoothly worked out those details without causing problems or delays for the rest of us. Great job guys.

Nice afternoon - This was fun but too much time was spent in trying to get us to buy bracelets and it ended up cutting into the time allocated for the restaurant and snorkeling.
The drive was mainly through a road with trees and no view was available.
The tequila tasting was good but expensive to buy.
In the restaurant there is no menu: only option was chicken fajitas. They were tasty though.

Set expectations low - Our guide was friendly and very accommodating. However, we were given a jeep instead of a dune buggy, the “Mayan town” was more of a warehouse with a mural on the wall and a stage for dancers. We also did not get to do the snorkeling but instead just visited a beach. While it was a nice stop it was not what we were looking forward to. The only part of the activity that was an advertised was the tequila tasting, which was the one part of the excursion we knowingly were not going to participate in. (We don’t drink alcohol.) Was a bit of a let down and this was the last port stop on our cruise.

Hated everything except tequilla tasting - We had to walk 2 miles off the port to find the location because there where never pick up instructions. We couldn’t call anyone because we had no number. It was a bunch of seaweed and rocks in the water so snorkeling was not fun and also the provided lunch was terrible
