Gerson with Leon Tours... - Gerson with Leon Tours was FANTASTIC! We did the Mayan ruin tour in Cozumel as our first stop on our cruise & it could not have been better. Gerson was incredibly knowledgeable about local culture & was very personable - customizing the tour as went. HIGHLY recommend touring with Gerson if you get the chance!

This tour was the absolute best!!! - Touring with Leon was the best decision we could have made for our one day in Cozumel. We learned so much local island history, visited the Mayan ruins, the Atlantic beach coast, and then ended our 5 hour tour with a delicious lunch at a local hot spot.

Best. Excursion. Ever. - This is by far the best excursion my family has been on. Gerson is wonderful. This trip is customizable and Gerson is very knowledgeable, thoughtful and considerate. He is a certified guide to the Mayan ruins and we learned a lot about this ancient history. Our family of 5 never had so many family photos taken (thanks to Gerson) and the beach he took us to is so beautiful (Chen Rio). The restaurant by the beach side is a popular spot by the local. The food is great (we ordered cheese quesadillas, ceviche, fish fillet, and coconuts) and the price is reasonable. My kids had fun by the beach and they don’t want to leave at the end of the trip. We highly recommend Leon tour and sincerely hope their business grow bigger and bigger in the future. They offer the tour in English, German, French, Italian, and Spanish (very impressive)

Book for a fun and informative private tour! - We have been to the port of Cozumel many times on previous cruise vacations. We wanted to learn more about the island and its history. J.C. was an amazing guide. He took me and my husband around the island telling us it's history and visiting various stops along the way. He was very knowledgeable and fun. The San Gervasio Mayan ruins were definitely the highlight. Our guide there, Nacho, was very passionate and insightful. I do a lot of research before booking excursions and this one is great! Book it if you are looking for a private tour of the island and want to learn more about Mayan civilizations.

Nice day seeing the other side of Cozumel! - Great time of year to visit the park and ruins. Our guide was very knowledgeable. We visited 2 tequila places and sampled some good tequila. Had a nice late lunch by a quiet beach. Learned new things about Cozumel from our awesome driver!

We had a private tour... - We had a private tour with Andrea and it was amazing! She shared local history with us, showed us some amazing flora and fauna (and bats!), and let us explore a beach area on the wild side as long as we wanted. San Gervasio ruins were incredible - so much history with them. Make sure you bring plenty of cash for lunch and drinks - we missed out on the best mojito because we ran out of cash! A wonderful experience for us all :)

Definitely worth your time. - We had a positively wonderful day with Juan Carlos (aka JC). He was so helpful, informative and a very nice guy. The Mayan ruins were very interesting and the beach break lovely. I highly recommend JC and this tour!

Very fun trip, our tour... - Very fun trip, our tour guide was super knowledgeable and personable. I don’t know if we did all the things on the list, but after everything was done we went and got street tacos with the tour guide. Super great experience

Amazing and fun day trip - We booked a tour with Gerson to visit the Mayan ruins on the island and thoroughly enjoyed it. He’s deeply knowledgeable about Mayan culture and history and provided interesting facts about the structures and symbols as we moved around the archeological site. Additionally, Gerson is very familiar with the place and showed us around in an efficient way that saved us time from wandering aimlessly. We also learned more about Cozumel as he drove us around the island as part of the tour. Thanks to Gerson, we came away with a greater appreciation for Cozumel not just as a vacation getaway but rich cultural and historical locale.

Great tour! - We had a great experience with our tour guide Petrus. He was very knowledgeable and nice. There was a miscommunication that occurred prior to the tour where we ended up being late, but Petrus was nice enough to wait for us and flexible after that seemed to be the case. There were 6 of us on the tour and everyone enjoyed the tour. We would definitely recommend this tour to others.
