Best day of our trip! - Best Day of the Trip!
Driver Miguel, along with guides JC and Gabriel, made this day unforgettable.
During the ride to the river, JC (Juan Carlos) shared fascinating insights about the endless acres of palm trees we passed. He explained how the seeds at the tops of these trees are harvested for palm oil and how the newer generation of palms have been genetically modified to grow shorter, making it easier to collect the seeds.
As we traveled, Miguel would often stop the van, and Gabriel would leap out, returning with treasures like berries, leaves, or bark. JC expertly identified each plant, including cinnamon bark, oregano, menthol, citronella, and the henna plant, which is used for tattoos. He even pointed out the "toilet paper" plant, which got a few laughs. At one point, JC spotted a crocodile, and Miguel swiftly backed up the van so we could all get a good look.
When we reached the river, we suited up with helmets and life jackets. After a brief demonstration, we were off!
The river offered a perfect mix of rapids and calmer stretches, making the experience both thrilling and relaxing. Along the way, we saw a beautiful waterfall, tiger herons, and even some horses. Midway, we stopped for a refreshing break with fresh pineapple and watermelon.
On the way back, Miguel treated us to a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
What really made this day special, though, was JC. His deep knowledge of the area and the plants, animals, and culture around us made the trip unforgettable.

And amazing trip down an amazing river. - Just ran the Sevegra River with JC and crew. It was just the right mix of rapids, calm water that we could jump in and float in. Amazing scenery including a short hike to a beautiful waterfall. Ending with a fabulous meal! Loved it....we will be back!

Amazing! - My family and I had the most amazing time on this wonderful excursion. It was the best way to end our time in Costa Rica with amazing views, fun, adventure, wildlife, beautiful waterfalls, and memories to last a lifetime! The traditional, Costa Rican lunch was also a favorite of ours! Juan Carlos, Miguel, Brian and Mauricio were amazing guides and took great care of us!

AMAZING… Just AMAZING! - This was my first ever experience white water rafting and having, Juan Carlos, Brian and Miguel as our guides made it one to remember! The trip out to the river, the guides were attentive to wildlife life and pointed out different birds, plants and even a Sloth! They were so patient with us first timers and calmed my nerves as well! Half way through the journey, we stopped at a beautiful waterfall and they served us fresh pineapple, watermelon and cookies. We then finished off the river adventure, dried off and drove to a small restaurant in a local village to enjoy a scrumptious and authentic Costa Rican lunch. I cannot thank these 3 men for the memories he gave my family and myself. We all agreed, this was the best excursion of all and a great way to end our week long vacation in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica.

Thrilling AND safe, with knowledgeable, friendly guides - Our family of four with two kids (ages 11 & 9, both fairly small for their age) went on a group whitewater rafting excursion on the Savegre River. The trip was a perfect fit for our family. The rapids were definitely thrilling, and - importantly to me - manageable. All thanks to our expert raft guide, Gabriel, who we're certain did the lion's share of the work but made it look effortless.
Our group's leader was Juan Carlos who was calm, knowledgeable and great company for the day. He was great at holding the kids' attention on the drive to/from the river, teaching us all a great deal about the area; incredible communities, the economy, all operating as part of an abundantly biodiverse setting.
In addition to the rafting guides, our sweeper - a skilled kayaker - vigilantly monitored for hazards downstream, was always ready to retrieve anyone who fell overboard (none did), and took tons of awesome photos and video to boot. I'd give this crew more than 5 stars if I could - an awesome day. We will definitely be repeat customers.

Great rafting tour with stopover at the waterfall - It was a great tour. We had a great time. Lucky that there were only two of us. Stopover at a dreamlike waterfall.
Bryan was so kind and took photos and videos of us and sent us so we will remember this unforgettable experience for ourselves and for others.
Organization was great. Can we recommend without restrictions.

Rafting on Segevre River, I’d do it again! - What a wonderful time we had. Juan Carlos, Mauricio, Bryan, Antonio and Cappy were all so fun but made sure that everyone was safe and understood the instructions. I think it was our favorite activity while we were in Costa Rica!

Fun and gorgeous - I did the rafting activity and the rapids in the rivers are so much fun. There is no need to be scared to go with someone a bit old because they are fun and easy (there is only one a bit technical). Also the views are expectacular and if you would like to know something about the place the instructors will explain you everything. I had a great time with my parents that are 57 years old. In general it is great and the food they give you at the end is pretty good. The staff is excellent as in every part of costa rica, they are funny, they explain everything perfect in English and Spanish and they try to give you the best experience possible.
The only thing I disliked about bit is just the small space you had in the bus but as they apologized at the beginning about it, it is ok. I want to say thank them because it was incredible.
