Excellent mangrove kayak tour - We had a knowledgeable, friendly tour guide who described plant and animal ecosystems in fascinating detail. We saw lizards, iguanas, monkeys, birds and more. The mangroves are beautiful and interesting. The kayaking is easy and relaxing.

A journey into the mangroves - If you want to see native Costa Rican wildlife, the mangroves are a great place to start! Our guide, Jhonny, was excellent; very knowledgeable, great with a large group, and took the time to answer our questions. He’s also a great photographer! We saw tons of wildlife, including capuchins, basilisks, raccoons, sloths, black hawks, a mangrove boa, and more. A great experience!

Excellent kayak tour with Memo - Our tour with Memo was excellent. He really had a lot of fun facts on our kayak trip and we saw many animals and bugs and birds. Very highly recommend. We also appreciated the pick up by Carlos and how clean the van was and his safe driving.

Quiet kayaking with many animals to see - With 3 kids from 5 to 13, we had a great time, with a small group, beautiful environment, many things to see, and a patient guide who shared well his passion!

Kayaking discovery of wildlife in mangrove very accessible - What a beautiful place, a high-end welcome. The material is of good quality, but especially our guide after a little explanation about the surrounding plants showed us crocodile, snake, monkey, lizard, insects with precise explanations. The rhythm is not sporty at all, and in a respect for wildlife that we liked a lot. Very attentive and very professional. We were with family, and it is an unforgettable experience very accessible comfortable that we highly recommend!

The Best Mangrove Forest Kayak Tour and Guide!!! - We had the best time! You begin the tour in a beautiful palm oil plantation and learn some very interesting things. Then head out to the river and your kayak (or the boat, if you prefer). Our guide was Johnny Arturo. He is so knowledgeable and obviously loves what he does. He explains about the relationships of the flora and fauna while pointing out things we could never see on our own, like colorful birds, lizards and bats. A troop of white-faced capuchins stopped by to check us out. (Don't feed them!). Johnny is a terrific guide. He really made the tour the amazing experience that it was. There are a number of Tour companies that offer a mangrove boat or kayak trip. But THIS is the one you want!

Nice overall experience, kayaking so so. - The kayaking experience itself was not as expected. Very little in the way of 'classic' mangroves. More of a leisurely paddle down a small waterway with very little wildlife. With that said, we did enjoy the tour and our guide Johnny was very informative and easygoing. The organic farm, palm trees, and garden were very peaceful and well taken care of. It was very surprising to find water buffalo in Costa Rica and getting our picture with them was an added treat. We also enjoyed meeting Carlos (our driver) who was very warm and welcoming.
