Whales Ho! A Rare Sighting Off Cathedral Point - Humpback whale sightings are a rare and treasured experience First Mate Melissa could not guarantee a sighting, so we were thrilled to come within 50' of a mother and her baby. The Brisa Elegante lingered off Cathedral Point to give us time to video the whales off Manuel Antonio National Park's beautiful coastline and beaches. With the owner and his crew aboard, this four hour cruise is a truly authentic full sail adventure not to be missed

Perfect Day in Quepos - What an amazing day! The entire staff was amazing and so welcoming. Melissa made us all feel at home and like we were own our own personal boat (dare to dream). The lunch was better than most any restaurant and the drinks were beautiful and tasty. The staff stopped to see seat turtles and whales and treated our kiddos like VIPs. If you are in Quepos, this tour is a no brainer.

One of my favorite tours! - This ship is beautiful! It was a bit of a stormy/rocky day for a bit tho! Stopping and swimming was perfect ! Fresh grouper for dinner was sooo good!

Wonderful sailing experience - I've never done this before, and me and my partner had a great time! The sailboat is just as beautiful and photogenic as the photos show, and it sails really smoothly (still, expect some movement). The tour path is wonderful, covering parts of Manuel Antonio and offering good opportunities to see the marine life around. We were lucky enough to see some turtles and whales in our path. The crew is excellent, the cocktails well made, and the lunch delicious (we took the morning tour). The also play good music along the way. We got some great memories, photo, and video out of it. Would definitely do again!

A dream ride in the Pacific - The ride was magical, superbly organized, with a great lunch, fresh fruits, freshly squeezed juices and even a cocktail all included. It is a very pretty, large two-mast wooden ship. It was anchored after some time and you could go swimming directly from the ship, kayaking or/standup paddling, snorkeling. Have a bed in the water. It was all on board and the super friendly crew not only provided all the stuff but also motivated us to use everything. After that you could shower with fresh water on board, great. During the voyage, the ship was under sail. Even though only the three of us had booked the morning ride they still drove and we had everything to ourselves. The ship is actually designed for 46 passengers and in everything really classy with teak chairs etc. The crew consists of four people who have everything under control routinely. How did you happen to meet the owners who come from Central Germany and are also super nice and do whatever it takes for you. Wie had asked for a plantation inspection and they organized it for us in no time at all, although they had nothing to do with it. During the trip, a member of the crew was constantly looking for animals such as whales, etc. to let us know if there was anything to see. It was also explained expertly and with great pleasure what you see. All together a wonderful ride that is more than worth their money.

Pura Vida - If you want to feel like a king and queen, grab the Adirondack chairs, sit back and relax. Diego and his crew are rock stars. The food was delish, the weather delightful, and the gentle rocking of the boat was pura vida. And we saw whales! One of my best of many great Costa Rica memories, for sure!

A Beautiful Morning Cruise - We booked a morning cruise on Brisa Elegante and enjoyed every minute of it. From start to finish, the crew (particularly Mike) of Brisa Elegante was outstanding. They were all friendly, attentive, and helpful. We enjoyed the cocktail and fruit to kick things off. We saw many dolphins swimming alongside the boat, and an early whale sighting. Being able to see more during our snorkel would have been great, but we also liked walking the plank and swimming in the sea for a bit. All around a great trip on a sailing ship. Be sure to take your motion sickness pills. Pura Vida!

Bris-AH-mazing! - Brisa Elegante is AH-mazing! From the moment we stepped into the main office and met the owners to the minute we stepped off of the boat onto the dock we had a great experience. My husband and I own a home in Costa Rica and are always trying to find different adventures. This is a MUST! The food, staff, and fun can’t be measured by anything but the laughter we all had and the smiles on everyone’s faces. There wasn’t a thing that disappointed us in any way. I truly recommend this phenomenal experience to everyone.

Not good for snorkeling - Ship was fine, food was ok, service excellent. Not sure crew knew what they were doing. Took a long time to anchor the boat. Absolutely no fish to be seen. We did see 2 turtles.
