Costa Rica Manuel Antonio - Edwin was a fabulous guide. He was so knowledgeable and we saw such an assortment of animals And insects! Edwin had a camera on his telephoto lens which ensured a great view. He gave us all the prints he took and spent time explaining Costa Rica and his Lovely country. Thanks Edwin. We have passed on your name to others for an Exceptional Service!!’n

Must Do - Edwin was, in a word, unbelievable. It is essential to have a guide and this was an economical and as friendly as they come. Perfect English.

Wonderful time! - We had a wonderful time on our Manuel Antonio Park Tour. Our guide was super friendly and very knowledgeable. It was amazing how many things he spotted in the park. I would absolutely recommend going to the park with a private guide. You will get so much more out of the experience. A must do when in the Central Pacific Coast of Costa Rica.

Awesome tour, saw the animals we came for and learned a ton! - Our guide was Saul Gúzman and he was fantastic! Incredibly knowledgeable about not only the animal species but plants as well. He was able to talk about everything down to the genus and the differentiating characteristics between the species. We learned a ton from him and saw a lot of cool spiders, both two-toed and three-toed sloths, bats, monkeys, and the northern tamandua (our favorite sighting). Highly recommend him as a guide!

Manuel Antonio tour - Our guide Mop did a fantastic job pointing out various animals and plants. He was extremely knowledgeable and could answer all questions. Without a guide, I would have gotten very little out of the experience. With a guide, I was able to see many animals up close in the spotting scope. He also shared the photos he took the day of the tour. He has been doing this job for 25 years, remaining passionate about his job, and able to share a wealth of information

Great tour company - recommend using them again! - For the manual Antonio tours, we went with Daniel (originally MOP was assigned, but was a no-show). Daniel was a great tour guide, and spent time explaining everything, starting from the line going in. His telescopic camera was great, and photos were free as they were taken w/ our cameras thru his lens. Luckily they included parking with our admission ticket and private group tour making it easier. Edwin, owner is a great communicator - all instructions were very clear, and parking was a blessing. Seemed like all the tour guides worked together to point things out so everyone could have a great time. Its like the closest parking lot to the park entrance, and has a clean bathroom to boot!

Sloth sightings and beautiful beaches! - My friend and I did the 730am tour with Luis. It was an amazing experience! Luis found 5 sloths, including a mom and baby, stick birds, beautiful insects and various types of monkeys. Luis was knowledgeable and we enjoyed his sense of humor. Recommend going early since the park gets very crowded. We enjoyed the beaches too. The beach across from Manuel Antonio has softer sand so we preferred that beach. Manuel Antonio has bluer water which was nice to gaze at.

Highly recommend! - So glad we booked this specific tour instead of going through the guides at the park! Our guide was amazing - we saw lots of animals and he was really thoughtful about trying to avoid crowds of people (which candidly is tough, it’s a popular park), and sharing lots of fun facts. The instructions for park tickets and for parking were also super clear - it was such a seamless experience! Recommend going at 8am because it was HOT in January. Would definitely recommend this one! Would not recommend self guided - we wouldn’t have seen like 90% of the animals he showed us.

Tons of monkeys and sloths and an amazing guide! - We had an amazing time with our guide, Luis, on a730 am guided tour with him. The park has beautiful foliage with blue morpho butterflies fluttering about! We saw howler, white faced, and one more kind of monkey, both the 2 and 3 toed sloths (a mother and baby too) and numerous birds, spiders and insects! Luis was so knowledgeable and fun! Enjoyed every minute of the tour. After we spent the rest of the day hiking more trails in the park and enjoying its beautiful beaches! Manuel Antonio park was definitely a highlight of our trip!

Visit park Manuel Antonio - We have reserved this tour to access the park with a specialized guide. The entrance ticket must be purchased separately via the official online website. Overall the tour was nice, we met at the entrance at 8am and met the guide, unfortunately there were many groups, and we were in total 8 it seems to me. This made the visit quite eventful, all grouped in the points of interest to watch the various animals. Each guide has a telescope from which you could also take pictures. Honestly I would recommend investing more and doing the activity in private with a guide, so there are only two of us and you can enjoy the day more and the chance to see the various animals calmly. Despite this we still got to see several animals (sloths, spiders, lizards, iguanas, birds, monkeys) and we had time to stay at the beach since the visit was early in the morning. Too bad for the refreshment point, a must since it is forbidden to bring food or anything inside the park. On lunch the line was mile-long and we paid two hotdogs, two sandwiches and two Cokes and fruit more than $40.
