The hike will start around 8:30am where you will be taken through well defined trails. A bilingual nature expert will guide you into what is considered the most beautiful national park in Costa Rica.
Endemic squirrel monkeys, white tailed deer, howler and white faced Capuchin monkeys along with sloths and a large variety of flora can be easily spotted. You cannot miss the famous Costa Rican Garrobos. After this amazing and educational walk, you will enjoy a 45 minute leisure stop at the 3rd beach. There will be time for rest or swimming. After this lunch will be provided at our operation center.

Good tour! - Our guide Carlos ("Charlie Sheen") was super informative even on the drive to the park. He did his best to find animals in the park using his telescope & then putting our phones up to the viewer to take pictures or video...finding sloths, monkeys, etc.! Communicated well and cracked jokes, etc. The driver Louis was also good! Delicious breakfast!

We did the Manuel Antonio... - We did the Manuel Antonio national park tour with Tucanes Tour with pick up at Los Sueños. Our guide Jeremy is amazing and he had such a sharp eye for spotting any animals. In the national park you will encounter many guide with other groups but we feel like we are making the most stops for animal as Jeremy can always spot something other guides can’t. He also talked to us about Costa Rica history on the ride to the park which was super informative. Would strongly recommend this tour and with Jeremy.

Jeremy and Guillermo are first class! The trip is not bad either😂 - This was our last excursion in Costa Rica before heading home on Sunday after two weeks in country. As my wife told our guide Jeremy, it was the best day ever. Our driver and Jeremy picked us up on time and made our trip from Jaco to the park an educational one. We learned all about the history of the area as well as a couple of stops for a great breakfast (not mentioned in the description) and to see a few animals along the road.
Guillermo our driver spotted a red macaw and a sloth after breakfast and before the park. At the park we saw all the monkeys, sloths, tucan birds and many other animals before heading out for a great lunch and ride back. I highly suggest booking and if you’re lucky enough to get Jeremy as a guide and Guillermo as your driver, you’ll have a super day!

Great day seeing monkeys,... - Great day seeing monkeys, sloths, and other animals. Got to spend an hour at a beautiful beach. Would have preferred more beach time and no included breakfast. Brenda was a very knowledgeable guide who gave us a lot of information even on the drive there.

Nature at its best. - Really enjoyed it. Rodger, our guide had a great eye for finding us nature to observe: monkeys, sloth, coti, bat, snake, crabs and momma and chick pauraque.

Great day at Manuel Antonio National Park - Wonderful location. Stephanie our guide was great. Pick up at our hotel was on time and the bonus breakfast was a nice surprise. In between seasons so timing was perfect and not crowded at all. The beach was a beautiful location with time for a well earned swim to wash away the humidity. Comfortable transport well organized and great fun with an intimate group of 10. Wildlife were out in force particularly the sloths.

The best personalized tour with a guide at a National Park in Costa Rica, hands down! - Our guide, Jeremy provided a truly one of a kind experience of a lifetime! We were able to spot all three species of monkeys! We also saw toucans, hummingbirds, bats, lizards, frogs, iguanas, and had a closeup of a three toed sloth! The protected beach was picture perfect! While we stopped for water at the restaurant/ gift shop we were still able to enjoy morphos butterflies passing by! Having our guide really made a profound difference to enjoying this small sized National Park. He was extremely patient and knowledgeable! He would kindly and quickly set up his scope to take the best pictures for us! It was hard to end the best nature filled day in Costa Rica, an absolute must when you come to this country!

A wonderful experience! - The trip from Jaco to Manuel Antonio should be at then top of everyone’s list of activities in Costa Rica. The transportation was on time, comfortable, and professional, and the guide was knowledgeable and patient. Our tour group was composed of a range of travelers, from our family with two children to a group of retirees, and no one was left behind during the tour. The guides help each other spot wildlife in the park, so that every visitor has a positive experience. We saw capuchins, sloths, and birds on our tour. And the beach was spectacular! If we had an additional wish, it would’ve been more time at the beach. Our quick one hour of beach time after a two hour hike seemed far too brief. But even so, the day was perfectly timed to get everyone back at the bus and back in Jaco by 4-5 pm. All in all, this was money well spent to explore one of Costa Rica’s national treasures in one day.
