Amazing scenery, lots of information given about the history of the area - I absolutely loved the experience - Riding to and around the lake. The e-bikes were in excellent condition with all the necessary features. Our guide Shay was super friendly and informative and extremely patient with beginner e-bike riders! I would highly recommend this tour.

Great teen family activity on off-snow day! - Absolutely awesome day doing the Ride to the Lake tour with Shae on one of our off-snow days in Queenstown. We've done e-bike tours before in Australia in the Byron hinterland and loved it, but don't generally mountain bike so picked the Lake tour as I didn't want to be overly challenged on the ride (47yo mum!) Had my 2 boys aged 16 & 18 along for the ride and we had one of the best family days we've had in ages. The bikes were super fun, comfy and easy enough to get the gist of. The route was varied with easy stretches along gravel paths, some fun tree-lined pathways amongst forests, lake side rides, bridge crossings and a brief section in residential area making the entire journey interesting and very very scenic. Shae was a fabulous host giving the right amount of guidance and adjusting to our groups' level. He made us all feel comfortable and gave great instructions so we could move at our own pace along the course of the ride. Would 100% recommend, and would love to come back and try some of the other routes!

Family fun with expert guides! - This was the best experience we have had in Queenstown so far! Shay and Ksena were incredible guides, with everything well-organised and ready for us on arrival. Shay has a wealth of knowledge to share about the local area, which we appreciated as tourists. He spent time with each member of our family, giving us all a rich experience. This is the tour to book!!

Don’t miss this experience!!! - This tour, lead by Ksena far exceeded our expectations. We were a family of 8 without much EMTB experience, and with Ksena’s guidance, we all thoroughly enjoyed the ride. Amazing route and scenery and we got to see so much more of Queenstown that we would have otherwise. It’s clear Ride to the Sky have put a lot of effort into making sure people have an incredible experience, and we all can’t wait to come back. Thank you!!

Places you have never seen before. - The tour was amazing and set at a perfect pace for everyone in the group. We went to places that you can not see by car and may not even know they are there. A must do for all ages and types of riders.

Book This Tour - You Will Love It - Awesome, epic and beautiful. I cannot recommend this experience enough. Shay was wonderful and we learned so much about the area while being outside and enjoying the breathtaking views. We are not experienced riders and did the scenic route, which really was beautiful. It was truly the highlight of our trip. Thank you Shay!

A Great Way to Enjoy Queenstown - My husband and I had the pleasure of doing this ride, on Friday, March 21. We had a fantastic guide who customized the ride to our abilities. My husband is a more experience mountain bike rider, and our guide, Jared showed him some more challenging parts of the trail, while I rode on the easier parts of the trail. The ride went through various types of trails, beginning with riding through a sheep farm, riding along the lake, through the trees, etc. The ride far exceeded our expectations! To top it off, there was a shuttle service from our hotel, which made it much more convenient. This ride is one of the highlights of our trip to NZ! Thank you to Ksena and Jared for the wonderful memories!

EPIC RIDE… incredible scenery! - OMG this was sooooooo good DO IT!’n We went all over the Queenstown area and around the lake and up to Jack’s hill. The team Casin and Shane are legends. WTF are you waiting for….. book it now! :))
