Awesome day! - Both of my tour guides today were fantastic. They shared their knowledge of the regions, and especially the agricultural operations along the way which to me, is incredibly important. They were both personable and friendly and I highly recommend cheeky kiwi tours! Due to the weather, Hooker Valley was closed but the other treks were still amazing and the views of the lakes & mountains were incredible. Such an awesome day!

Good team from Cheeky Kiwi - It was a nice tour, picked up on time and we were only 3 people. My heli ride was cancelled due to rain so I went for hooker valley, it was okay despite the contant rain :) The team was very helpful checking with heli company and organising my refund. I travelled even alone to Christchurch.

Beautiful views and Mt. Cook visit. - Pick up was a bit confusing..several Cheeky Kiwi vans all showing up about same time. Some next to Ramada, some across street. Ride was good to Mt. Cook, scenery lovely. Approx 3 hrs to do full track hike. 1 hr to do hike to first bridge..well worth it. Second half of tour to Christchurch was fine…seemed a bit rushed at times. Nice drivers…hard to hear clearly, especially all the way in the back.

Quality tour and transfer service - A great means of getting from Queenstown to Christchurch while seeing highlights on the way. The pre-tour communication from Cheeky Kiwi was excellent. Guide Martin was informative, punctual and friendly. I particularly appreciated the way he outlined the detail of our day upfront to address common questions. Stopping at the Wrinkly Rams and Lindis Pass were highlights. The transfer to a partner operator in Mount Cook was seamless, although the service from Mount Cook to Christchurch was more like a transfer than a tour, with limited commentary. Guide Steve wasn't as informative but got us there safely and dropped me at my hotel which was a bonus. It was a long day due to the amount of ground covered but it was great having amble time to explore in Mount Cook.

Excellent if long day - This is a great way to get from Queenstown to Christchurch if you're solo traveling or don't have access to a vehicle. The stop at Mount Cook is magical. It is a lot of driving though. While the tour guides try to break it up, it is a little exhausting. I would suggest staying over at Mount Cook and Lake Tekapo and doing the second half the next day. Also good to note that it is two tour operators, Cheeky Kiwi and Cheeky Kea, both excellent, but double check your hotel destination at your end spot is a drop off point. It was excellently run. The two operators have it down to science and both guides were informative and friendly.

Great way to see the essentials in one day - The weather wasn’t playing the game for views but Kimberly made sure we had a fabulous time! We ran out of time for the glacier hike at Mount Cook, so she found us a fabulous alternative and we even got a snow stop!

The first leg of the trip... - The first leg of the trip from Queenstown to Mt. Cook was very enjoyable. The driver shared a lot of local information and history while still respecting the early hour and giving us time to rest. His music was good and he was clear with the schedule for the morning. The second part of the trip from Mt. Cook to Christchurch felt disorganized. At the transfer at Mt. Cook confusion around which passengers were continuing on from the AM and where new passengers should sit caused stress. The trash from the AM passengers who didn't continue was not cleared. The driver was friendly but didn't share the schedule for the afternoon, arrival times or much local history/facts. No water of snacks were offered until we asked. The afternoon portion left us wishing we rented a car on our own.
