Experience the prime attractions of Queenstown through a Segway tour, an ideal preface to New Zealand’s paradise for adventure enthusiasts. You’ll start with a brief tutorial on managing your individual Segway, followed by a guided tour tracing the edges of Lake Wakatipu, navigating through Queenstown Gardens, and visiting other picturesque locations. Benefit from an intimate atmosphere on this tour restricted to eight participants. Opt for either a 1- or 2-hour journey available at different intervals during the day.
- Minimum recommended age is 10 years
- Operates in most weather conditions; please dress appropriately
- Please dress extra warm on cool days
- Jackets and gloves are available to use. In the event of heavy or continuous rain, or if you’re just concerned about the conditions, please call the number on your voucher an hour before your booking time to discuss options
- Maximum weight of 265lbs (120kgs). Minimum weight of 77lbs (35kgs)
- Single person bookings are not confirmed until at least 1 other person joins the tour.
- The meeting point is the One Mile Powerhouse Car Park, near 130 Lake Esplanade. 1km from town, at the end of the Lake Esplanade take the 3rd exit off the roundabout. Go up the dirt road into the car park area to meet your guide who will be there 5 minutes before your booking time. In google maps enter ‘Ben Lomond Track Trailhead’.

Segway on Q ***** - Kevin is an amazing Tour guide with great local knowledge. Thoroughly enjoyed our 2-hour trip with family members in Range from 14 - 70!!

Such a fun way to see Queenstown! Kevin was sp friendly, gave clear instructions, and made sure everyone felt confident on the Segways. We got to see great views and learn a few local stories along the way. Highly recommend for something a bit different!

Excellent tour of Queenstown - so much fun! - Our family did this tour as our first activity when arriving in Queenstown. A fantastic way to find our bearings and get to know Queenstown. Kevin did a great job with pointing out key places and events.
Learning to ride the segway was super easy. Great instructions and then in a minute or two of practice and you feel totally comfortable on them. The segways were actually so much fun we were sad to hand them back at the end.

A blast!!! - Kevin meet us and quickly had us tutored and riding confidently. The best way to see Queenstown! Kevin was a great guide sharing his knowledge of the area with us and making sure we had the best time. Even giving my youngest his own jacket to make sure she didn't get cold on the trip. Never had any experience with Segways before but had an absolute blast. Loved it!!! Worth every cent we payed😁👍 .

Unique perspective of Qtown! - What an incredible experience! Kevin was a fantastic guide, make sure we were fully confident before we went off. We didn’t expect to venture through the city centre which was so awesome, I couldn’t stop laughing and enjoying every moment! The route through the gardens and into the forestry was equally amazing, offering such a unique perspective of the area. This tour was the perfect mix of adventure, scenery, and city sights – highly recommend! We are 25 year olds so fun for any age also

Great way to get the lay of the land - This was the second time we decided to book Segway on Q, when visiting Queenstown NZ. The process to book is easy and the routes are well thought out. They also include training for all, before you embark on a tour throughout the city.

Shopping Mall Mayhem! - Went on a Segway tour of Queenstown with Kevin yesterday and it was marvellous! Kevin gave us some nice easy lessons in the car park to get us warmed up, before heading right downtown through QT, then along the shoreline of Lake Wakatipu and fanged on through the Gardens as well. Beautiful scenery and we saw some lovely sights we hadn't previously seen. At one stage, we even went through a shopping mall!
As the owner of a tour company (in Sydney )myself, I would personally have preferred a bit more commentary about the local area, but would highly recommend regardless. Great session!
