Refreshingly Pleasant - We went here for lunch and not for the winery tour. The whole ambiance of sitting out in the open under the trees was refreshing . The food quality and presentation too was just fabulous. This is a good spot to take a break during a driving for couple of hours. The staff are always smiling and very hospitable. All in all a perfect place to spend few hours in a good weather.

Excellent relaxing way to spend a few hours - Did the complete winery, vineyard, and cave tour ending with 4 tastings in the cave. Interesting to see the grape processing equipment. The cave was cool to see and great photo opportunities. Bonus- the wines were good! We stayed after on the patio and grabbed some nibbles and more wine. Nice discount on wine purchases if you do it onsite so a case of wine is heading home.

A wonderful tasting! - Our tour guide was fantastic! His knowledge and passion was great. His experience brought the contrast of productions really clearly. The wines we tasted were wonderful to experience. Seeing the cave was a bonus. It was amazing experience.

Beautiful place, but very disappointing experience - Beautiful place, but very disappointing experience We visited Gibbston Valley with a group of 11 people, including 3 babies, and unfortunately, our experience was far from what we expected. Upon arrival, our guide Melisa told us that babies could not join the tour because they might disturb other guests. After discussing it, we decided not to participate and asked for a refund. However, when we spoke with the manager, she clarified that babies are normally welcome and there would be no issue. Once the tour began, Melisa’s attitude was quite unprofessional. She often started speaking before everyone in the group had arrived, and inside the cellar, she asked us to remove the babies because they were “bothering,” which was simply not true. During the wine tasting, she seemed rushed and uninterested, as if she just wanted the session to end quickly. The location itself is stunning, and the wines are good, but the overall experience was completely overshadowed by the poor service and lack of hospitality. I’ve visited many wineries around the world, and this was, unfortunately, one of the most disappointing.
