Whitehaven Beach All Day (No Snorkelling):
Spend a relaxing day on the pristine sands of Whitehaven Beach. This option includes unlimited transfers from the boat to the beach, a guided walk to the South Whitehaven Lookout, and a buffet lunch served onboard.
Whitehaven Beach + Snorkel:
Enjoy all the features of the all-day beach ticket, plus a snorkelling adventure. Snorkel at one of the Whitsundays’ coral reef locations with provided gear and expert guidance. Guests are transferred to the snorkel site on ZigZag’s original fast boat, which features fold-down stairs for easy water access.
- Minimum Ages - Whitehaven Beach All Day 1+. Whitehaven Plus Snorkel 5+
- If you visiting Airlie Beach on a Cruise Ship - Our Departure and return times do not coincide with any Cruise Ships

Amazing day trip - One of the best trips I have ever been on - 6 out of 5. Jess and her team were so incredibly friendly and helpful. We felt so well taken care of and so safe with them watching out for us.
We arrived at the location for a 9am start time and then it was about 90 minutes on the boat to Whitehaven beach. The team were so lovely and they had so much information about all the different islands we passed. Gorgeous pastries and tea and coffee were provided as a little breakfast before we arrived. Once there, we were separated into our groups for morning/afternoon snorkeling.
We went snorkeling first and the entire experience was excellent. Wet suits were provided, as well as fins and pool noodles and the scuba gear. We took a smaller boat out to Chalky beach where the snorkelling took place. The zigzag team were excellent about offering advice and support for anyone who was a little bit unsure about snorkeling or who ran into any difficulty. The views underwater were amazing, it was truly a once in a lifetime experience.
After snorkeling, we returned to the boat for lunch, and then we went out onto the beach for the afternoon. There was a short walk to a look-out point that I didn't go on. We were allowed to keep the wet suits for the beach and we had a wonderful time playing in the sea. The beach was so beautiful and the amount of time spent on each activity was just perfect.

A day to remember ! - Where do I start , the checkin was easy , the boat is new , the staff were amazing nothing was to much trouble a big shout out to Jess I was nervous having never been snorkelling before , explained what I could do if I wasn’t comfortable after giving it a try and there was no pressure if I just went back and sat on the beach or they would take me to the little shuttle boat for cover from the sun if I wanted . Needless to say I took to it like a duck to water it was fabulous and a day we will never forget it’s an amazing place and so glad I did it , thanks again Jess also to the Liverpudlian girl sorry for got your name she was very good spotting my life jacket was a bit big and called in another jacket for me again I said I was nervous and first time she was excellent. We also did the walk to the lookout the chap with the long ponytail, sorry I didn’t get your name , such a lovely guy even let someone wear his crocks as they had gone up in bare feet and was finding it a bit rough ! I had a good chat with him on the way down very informative, interesting and friendly !
We then did the second half on the beautiful white sands it’s such an amazing place this trip has been the highlight of our holiday .
There was cakes and biscuits tea or coffee on the way out Then a buffet lunch was fabulous, far better than I would have expected for this type of trip and then later there fruit , crackers & humus , cold water always available and a pay for bar as well !
All in all a day to remember fantastic staff , well organised , I advise you to book this company if you are in Arlie beach you will not regret it !

The Best Boat Tour from Airlie - Whitehaven Beach is truly stunning and definitely worth a visit.
There are many tour boats but we chose ZigZag and it was the best decision for many reasons but an unbeatable advantage they had were the staff.
They were funny, informative and a pleasure to spend the day with, we would highly recommend this company.

Great experience - Had an amazing time in this tour. Great playlist ❤️ throughout the trip. Staff was friendly and funny. I found another solo traveler and asked if we could swap snorkeling groups to be together and they were happy to help us.
The snorkelling area was beautiful and staff was always making sure everyone was safe and supported. I was able to see a turtle and many beautiful creatures. I wish there was an option to stay snorkeling longer because it was such s beautiful experience.
I choose not to do the hike and enjoy the beach floating on the borrowed noodle.The water was incredible, full of beautiful fish that are curious to check you out.
Lunch was okay more of a light snack back at the boat, some people came early back to the boat, so when I got back some items had run out already. But that has more to do with the people than the organisation. I would suggest, keeping some in the fridge and laying out as more people arrive so no one is missing out.

Great Barrier Reef/Whitsunday boat trip - Had an amazing day today! Even though it rained for a bit that didn’t stop our fun! The spot where we snorkelled was amazing! The giant clam was as a highlight! The amount of different coral and fish species was stunning! All the staff were great fun and very knowledgeable. This was the last thing we did in Airlie and definitely left the best til
last! A definite must! Lexi was very knowledgeable with her facts about the Coral Reef too! Didn’t want the day to end!
