Great trip - suitable for families - A fab trip - all the family loved it including my 11 and 12 year olds. Easy to navigate and the guides Kai and Garth were super clear and helpful
Highly recommend the trip for families - kids want to go again!

Great fun - I was picked up right on time, and after a couple of other pickups, we drove to the river. Our guides gave us some excellent instructions, and we were soon on the river, blissfully floating along. There are a few good bumpy parts. Remember to lift your bum when going over the rapids. The guides made the 1 hour and 20 minute excursion fun for everyone. There was a snack on board at the conclusion

Great day out - Great day. Plenty to do and see. Saw lots of wild life, even a cassowary who thought about crossing the road!!! The ice cream at the end was a treat!

Solo tubing adventure - Great activity to do when you’re up here!
Friendly helpful staff and such a fun and relaxing way to spend the day amongst nature. Some cool little rapids nothing too much but very fun just the same. A must do if you have time and want something chilled and fun to do on your own or as a family or group!

Perfect way to enjoy the river - This was a really incredible experience - fun and relaxing at the same time. The guides were great - Zach and Jay lead our group - and the river was beautiful. We had the best time going over the little rapids and drifting along the quieter parts of the river. I only wish we could have spent more time enjoying the river from the comfort of our tubes!

My fun time - The experience was good. At times the instructors leave you and move ahead. So just be alert if you need to hold on to something if you feel like drifting away. It's safe.
At one point the instructors told us to keep moving towards a rapid and hold on to something. The tube moves the way it wants and if you have never done tubing then it's a little nervous.
He got upset with some of us and said you could have if you tried. That was very judging. We don't know the river. Even he dropped his oar in the water. Things can happen. Instructors need to be practical.
They said we can find the pictures on fb page but they didn't post and not replying to our messages.
Very disjointed as we didn't take our camera.
Overall it was fun.

A Tubing Tour with Underestimated Risks - I initially planned to spend a relaxing half-day floating on the river. After researching, I chose one of the lowest-level tubing tours in Cairns, which was advertised as being suitable for children, seniors, and even those who can't swim. Additionally, on social media, the reviews often focus on the fun parts of the experience.
However, the reality turned out to be more challenging than I had imagined. The river current was rapid, and there were bends and drops where it was easy to capsize and fall into the river. At one of the places with the greatest drop, most of us fell into the river. I unfortunately sustained multiple bruises on my knee, along with a few other scratches. There were only two guides responsible for looking after a group of over a dozen team members, which made it difficult for them to manage everything, especially in the event of an emergency.
While I understand that the forces of nature are beyond human control, what left me feeling disappointed was when I checked the Cairns Rainforest Tubing Facebook Page later, everyone had photos taken from the activity—except for me. Even some couples had group photos. I do recognize this is a complimentary service, but if photos are being offered, I believe that should be provided fairly to all members, isn't it??? I can't help but only feel that I was treated unfairly. It has certainly been the most disappointing trip I've had.

Disappointed and Misleading Group Size - We were badly surprised to find that over 40 people were participating in this tour altogether. According to the tour description, there should be a maximum of 15 people per group. While the operator might argue that the participants were split into smaller groups, the reality was that the experience felt overcrowded and impersonal from the start.
This discrepancy left us with a bad taste and a strong sense of having been misled. It’s unfortunate, as we booked this tour expecting a more intimate and personal experience. Not recommended if you’re looking for a small-group setting as advertised.
