The Park At Ocean Ranch

From either side coming from Herradura/Jacó/Hermosa or Esterillos/Bejuco, following the Costanera main road, arrive at "Quebrada Amarilla", you will see a THE PARK sign. Turn there and about 1.5 km in you will see the park entrance on the left! On the way you'll see a lot of signs from the park :)

AWESOME!!! - We had an amazing time amd experience! The tour guides were extremely nice and helpful, and the planning and coordinate was very simple and easy . If you are an adventurous outdoor type of person or group, that dont mind walking with lil challenge I would definitely recommend.

Great Time! - My family had an amazing time. We were late due to getting lost in the mountains, but the staff made sure we were able to all of the activities even in the pouring rain! The zip lining was amazing and we loved rappelling down the waterfall. The food was decent, basically something to fill your belly before tons of activities.

Best experience of our lives and I have extensively traveled in the past - this is the absolute best experience of my life. I’m a 55-year-old woman who traveled with her 19 year-old son & his three- 20 year-old friends. horseback Riding we saw a toucan, ATV riding we saw the monkeys. They took us to this cool water area where we got to jump in the creek hiking up to learn how to repel down the waterfall was amazing. Would’ve liked to have done that more than once. But the absolute best was the series of seven zip lines each one better than the rest. I felt very safe. I did wear leggings to ride the horse and I’m so glad I did cause everyone else got chafed. I changed into shorts and a bathing suit top for the rest of the adventures this company did it right? I was so glad it was just my group and we didn’t have to wait for a whole bunch of other people. Also, the lunch was fantastic. It was a choice of like vegetarian rice or chicken and rice. We chose chicken and rice very clean area. I wore sneakers that I didn’t care got ruined and so did the rest of my group definitely Pack some of your own waters. It’s a long day and I wish I would’ve carry Waters with me up to the zip lines and that kind of stuff

Awesome Tour - All the guides were amazing!! Book this tour if you like adventure and nature. Be prepared to walk a lot for the zip line portion.

The activities were a... - The activities were a great experience all together! The staff were phenomenal! We brought our 8 year old with us and the zipline activity was a scary for him but our guide, Andres, was so kind as patient with him. He rode the zipline with my son until my son got comfortable going on his own. We were all cheering and celebrating when we saw my son did the last zipline on his own! The staff made all the activities fun which turned this day to be such an amazing memory for us! They were very accomodating and kind! Waterfall rappelling activity seems scary but doable. My 12 year old loved it! There were a total of 7 ziplines. The first 5 were just enough thrill and excitement that I could say I would do it again! I didnt do the last two because the guides said it's really high and it's a mile long. The guide tried to show us where the line is for the "big momma" zipline but we could barely see it! It was so high up from the ground! The people who did the last two ziplines said it was amazing! The horses for the horseback ride were well trained. The guides took us into the jungle and crossed a couple of rivers which was so much fun too! The ATV activity was a lot of fun! You have to be at least 14 yo to ride on your own. The guides were so kind and accomodating as well! We stopped a few times because they wanted to show us a plant or a bug or an animal that's native to costa rica. They also took a very nice picture for us! Overall, the experience and staff is 5/5! The only downside is the food for lunch. Wear sturdy water shoes and bring bug spray and water.

Totally worth it - It was such a fun and adventurous day. One thing to keep in mind is that multiple guides do different portions and each and every one will need to be tipped individually at the conclusion of each event. Justin did the ATV portion of the day, and he was super personable and the most interactive of the guides. We really enjoyed our time with him. The zip lining was amazing! Would highly recommend this fun, full day

Whole day of adventure - This is an all day event and includes ATV, horseback riding, zip lining and rappelling at waterfall. Pro tip: bring a mask or bandana for the ATV since it kicks up dust. But the ride was long and you go through the jungle/forest and will splash through creeks so be prepared to get wet/muddy. But it is an adventure, after all. The horseback riding was more relaxing, since the horses do the work. This is a ride also through the jungle, not at the beach. The guide will ask if you want to gallop near the end, and this will get bumpy. Some horses will go full trot. Lunch will be provided between activities. Ziplining was fantastic, you really get the see the view of the jungle. Rappelling was great too but will be slippery on wet rocks so bring footwear that has good grip and you don't mind getting wet. Pro tip: make sure you figure out your ride after the adventures are done; most Ubers are at Jaco and will cancel on you (and if you get one, you'll have to wait 20 minutes for them to arrive).

Yahoo!! Horseback/ATV/Zip-lining/waterfall repelling.. - I enjoyed my time experience of moseying along a course on horseback with a friendly/knowledgeable guide. The ATV experience was okay on the course. I would like to have been forewarned about the potential of receiving a steam burn on my inner calf where my footrest was. The Rappelling was exactly what I was hoping to experience as a novice climber. And the ziplining was enjoyable and fun, with the final lines view spectacular. The lunch was edible/average, nothing special. I appreciate the care and warmth of my guides. I felt cared for; I enjoyed the whole experience all in all. I recommend this tour.👍😁
