Highlights
  • Gobustan Rock Art - Gobustan is located on the southeastern spur of the Great Caucasian Range, about 60 km south of Baku. This monticulate semi-desert area is crisscrossed by numerous gullies and ravines, and the name Gobustan translates to “ravine land.” The region is surrounded by caves and rock outcroppings. Inhabited since the Stone Age, it is one of the world’s oldest and most significant museums of rock engravings (petroglyphs).
  • Mud Volcanoes - Additionally, mud volcanoes can be found around Gobustan National Park along the Caspian Sea coast. These oozing, gurgling mounds of subterranean sludge and methane are unlike lava-spewing igneous volcanoes or the bubbling mud of Rotorua; the contents of Gobustan’s mud domes are cold.
  • Ateshgah - Fire Temple - The Fire Temple of Baku (Ateshgah) is a castle-like religious temple located in the town of Surakhani. “Ateshgah” served as a pilgrimage and philosophical center for Zoroastrians from the Northwestern Indian Subcontinent, who traded with the Caspian area via the famous “Grand Trunk Road.” The temple was last restored in 1975. Today, the low, dark cells for monks and pilgrims in the Ateshgah Temple have been converted into an intriguing museum that introduces visitors to the basics of Zoroastrianism.
  • Yanardag State Historical, Cultural and Natural Reserve - Known as Burning Land, this natural gas fire continuously blazes on a hillside on the Absheron Peninsula near the Caspian Sea, close to Baku. Flames shoot up to 3 meters (9.8 ft) into the air from a thin, porous sandstone layer. The Yanar Dag (Burning Land) flame was first noted when it was accidentally ignited by a shepherd in the 1950s.
  • Bibi-Heybat Mosque - Visit the historic Bibi Heybat Mosque, a stunning architectural masterpiece located by the Caspian Sea, featuring intricate designs and a rich cultural heritage.
  • World’s First Oil Well - Explore the birthplace of the global oil industry at Azerbaijan’s renowned First Oil Well, a historic site that marks the beginning of the modern petroleum era.

Amazing experience! Please choose them. - Amazing experience arranged on VERY short notice. Literally decided a night in advance to travel to Baku for the weekend. Aygul arranged for everything the night before by 11pm before our arrival the next day. Day 1 we covered Fire Mountain, Fire Temple, Gobustan and Mud Volcanos Day 2 was Shahdag and all snow activities, Day 3 was Alpaca farm in the morning with a full day Baku tour in the afternoon and evening. Aygul was amazing, as was Anar. Friendly, Supportive, Accommodating. Thank you for a great experience!

Highly recommended tour guide in Baku, AZ - Reliable tour guide in Baku. Quick response in your enquiry and offer great price compare to others. I Took 1day tour (family). Recommend a private tour, our guide is Saddar, he’s very informative, with detail explanation on the country history, cultures and of course food here in Baku. Try Khalifa Restaurant located in Baku city, offers Azerbaijan food to try, with acceptable price range. This is our first experience in Baku, possibly will visit again 👍
