Qingdao Railway Station - The driver will collect guests from their hotel in Qingdao and transfer them to Qingdao Railway Station. Relax during the 4.5-hour bullet train journey to Beijing.

Upon arrival, the tour guide will meet guests at the exit of the arrival hall, holding a sign with their name.

Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then begin the tour at one of the world’s largest public spaces—Tiananmen Square, which houses the National Museum of China, the mausoleum of Mao Zedong, and the Monument to the People’s Heroes.

Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - Enter through the South gate to explore the magnificent Forbidden City, a 250-acre complex of courtyards, palaces, pavilions, and gardens that served as the imperial palace for over 500 years. The Forbidden City was designated a World Heritage Site in 1987.

Temple of Heaven - After lunch at a local restaurant, continue the tour to the stunning Temple of Heaven, where Ming and Qing Dynasty emperors worshipped the God of Heaven.

Follow the tour guide to explore the temple and learn about its history and the stories behind it.

Back Lakes (Hou Hai) - Next, stroll along the Hutong alley to discover the local lifestyle. Enjoy a walk around the Houhai lake area if desired.

Afterwards, guests will be transferred back to their hotel in Beijing. (Please book your own hotel in advance.)

Great Wall at Mutianyu Section- Summer Palace (L)

Mutianyu Great Wall - The driver and tour guide will meet guests in the hotel lobby at 8 am and take them to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. This section is slightly more rugged and less crowded than the more famous Badaling section. Over 96% of Mutianyu is covered with trees and orchards.

Follow the tour guide to hike up and down different towers, and enjoy the convenience of a cable car round trip or a toboggan ride at the wall.

Summer Palace (Yiheyuan) - Continue to the well-preserved royal garden, the Summer Palace. Renowned for its beautiful landscape and spectacular architecture, the Summer Palace is a World Heritage Site and considered one of the most classical gardens in the world.

After visiting the Summer Palace, guests can choose to be dropped off at their Beijing hotel lobby to conclude their tour in Beijing or return to Qingdao.
