Tarcoles - The Tarcoles River is where we operate boat tours to observe the large crocodiles and abundant wildlife. The Tárcoles River, also known as the Grande de Tárcoles River or the Río Grande de Tarcoles, originates on the southern slopes of the Cordillera Central volcanic range and flows southwest to the Gulf of Nicoya. The Tarcoles River is famous in Costa Rica because, as you drive over the Tarcoles Bridge, you can look down and see at least a dozen impressive crocodiles sunbathing below. The river flows towards the Pacific coast, spanning 111 kilometers before reaching its final destination. The Tarcoles River is teeming with crocodiles, some reaching sizes of three to four meters long (12 feet). These beasts are not to be messed with! But visiting the bridge is a great way to see them safely.

Province of Puntarenas - Puntarenas is one of the most important tourism regions in Costa Rica. Its coastline is full of islands, inlets, beaches, and beautiful natural treasures, making it an excellent tourist destination. There are numerous attractions based around the beaches, as well as protected areas, both on land and around its islands. The area’s center is located in Puntarenas, which serves as a hub for lodging, distribution, port of call, and excursions. The city of Puntarenas is rich in history, traditions, and customs. Historically, it was the most important port on the Costa Rican Pacific, through which the main exports that allowed the country’s development during the 19th century and part of the 20th century took place. Due to its coastal position, it was an important center for the arrival of immigrants in the mid-20th century. Its boom as a tourist destination dates back to 1940.
