Great time! - Out family (TripAdvisor only gives a Family with young children and Family with teens option, so I chose friends) which is my husband and I and our adult children, had a great time here. We did all the activities here and loved them all (again, TripAdvisor only let us select certain options, not the one we actually did). Our guide, Dylan, for the Sloth and Butterfly Garden was fabulous as were our guides for the zip lines and the reptiles and amphibians exhibit. Highly recommend!

Exciting experience in the rain forest - The service overall was excellent. We did all the activities. Zip line was well organized and enjoyed them a lot- my son did the Tarzan rope and loved it. The bridges are a wonderful walk in nature: we were fortunate to see a couple of quetzals in their habitat. Reptiles and sloths tours were informative and wonderful experience. The food at the restaurant is delicious and service outstanding (Elmer was excellent). The gift shop has good variety. Parking was great and safe since we had all our bags in the trunk. They offered great photos service and now we have wonderful pictures of the experience

Highly reccomend - It was super fun. We had the all day pass, and we got to do so many fun things! We got to see butterflies, sloths, and reptiles/amphibians. Then we went ziplining, which had almost no waiting and felt very safe and fun and had amazing views. We had lunch at their restaurant and hiked on some hanging bridges with amazing views. Great thing to do if you are in the Monte Verde area.

Great day excursion - This was one of the highlights of our Costa Rica trip. The team who did the zip lining was friendly, and we always felt safe. It was so much fun to fly through the treetops! We also really enjoyed walking along the hanging bridges, and since we were there in November, it wasn’t too crowded at all. It was also so, so special to visit the sloth sanctuary and see so many sloths up close. Definitely don’t miss that opportunity!

Fun day at Selvatura for adventure! - We went to Selvatura for zip lining, hanging bridges and the sloth sanctuary. We were picked up in downtown MTV which was very helpful. The zip lining was so much fun even though some of the rides were very misty and we got pretty wet (we’re in the cloud forest after all!). The tour guides were really sweet, getting to know everyone’s names and getting us hyped up for the rides. The hanging bridges were a nice walk with really cool wildlife all around the bridges. The sloth sanctuary was so great, it was nice to learn about how the sanctuary helps sloths have better lives after accidents and we were lucky to see a lot of movement! Highly recommend Selvatura for some adventure when you’re in MTV!

Great fun and customer service - Was so impressed with the customer service here! We had an all day tour booked and my youngest son had either a stomach bug or food poisoning and we couldn’t do the canopy tour that day. They were able to accurate us moving that part of our visit to the following day so we all could participate and it was so much fun!

Best Experience of our Trip - Highly recommend this park. We did ziplining, the canopy walk, and the sloth sanctuary. This was our favorite ziplining we've done. The lengths are all pretty long. The staff was amazing! They were so much fun! They kept everyone moving right along. You never had to wait long. Highly recommend doing the Tarzan swing. The sloth sanctuary was a neat experience. They have 12 sloths there that were all saved and unable to adapt to the outside world so they will spend the rest of their lives there. You get to see them up close. They are very well taken care of. The canopy walk was incredible. We were often the only ones around. This is a must do. We saw so many animals. The suspension bridges gave you great looks into the rainforest that you wouldn't otherwise see.

Highlight of Our Costa Rican Adventure - This was definitely the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. Ziplining and Tarzan swinging through the rainforest is a magical experience that I think ought to be on everyone's bucket list. At Selvatura, you get a day-long experience like at Disney or Universal, but without the lines and for half the price. You also get fresh air and exercise. There are few family experiences this good.

Reckless staff and faulty equipment - Please be aware of the unsafe practices before you book with this company. I visited the park in July with my family and suffered a terrible accident on one of the zip lines. Near the end of the line (but before the automatic braking zone) I suddenly came to a stop for no apparent reason. However the guests waiting behind me, which were 2 children sharing 1 ride, were released early and collided with me at full force. My family had already completed this line and had to watch in horror as this was happening. As too did the parents of the children who were waiting on the other side.
The whole activity had to be closed until we could be rescued from the line. Once we were taken to safety one of the staff inspected my equipment and informed me that the part that connected me to the line was faulty, which caused me to suddenly stop.
We have visited many zip lines around the world but have never witnessed the reckless practice of releasing a guest before the previous one has dismounted. This shows complete disregard for the safety of their customers. The accident resulted in severe bruising and pain in my lower back. To make matters worse, the park promised to fully refund the costs of our tickets, but after nearly 4 months of chasing they have failed to do so. I hope my terrible experience will make you think again before booking with this company.
