I absolutely enjoyed it.... - I absolutely enjoyed it. The fact that it ended up that I was the only one that booked that time and that day and they still went thru with it. I had Alex as my guide. He was very chill and It almost felt like having a tour with a friend. He even tried to look for areas where sloths would be in close proximity just because I mentioned my obsession with sloths. We did see some but up high in the trees. He took me on a hike up in the forest and gave me some history. It rained while we kayaked too which made the experience fun. He gave me a cold coconut drink at the end too. 10/10 👌👌

An amazing way to see nature - The tour with Alex was excellent! I am so happy that I chose to do this with a guide. He was very knowledgeable and shares a lot of facts and information about local history, the types of plants and the animals ( how to spot male or female). Kayaking felt like a unique and special way to see the wildlife here! The tour is at a very relaxed pace and Alex tries to find as many animals for you as possible - ones you would never spot alone! I was very lucky we saw an otter, many sloths, an iguana, a few green basilisk lizards, green macaws, howler monkeys, kingfishers. Thank you for a great afternoon! Pura Vida 🦥🏝️✨🌸

Amazing guide and great opportunity for wildlife views! - Francisco has an extensive knowledge of the flora and fauna of the region and its history. He shared his knowledge with us and showed us some medicinal plants that the indigenous peoples use and helped us spot some animals up in the trees above us while we kayaked on the river. I learned about the pita plant, which indigenous peoples use to make their homes. It was a super interesting and informative experience and I couldn’t recommend Francisco more highly as a guide. At the end he gave us fresh coconut water straight from some coconuts he had bought at the store. So refreshing! Thanks again, Francisco!

Super fun way to see some of the jungle animals! - This was a great experience learning more about Puerto Viejo and seeing animals. Alex was critical to finding these hidden creatures but so good at it. We saw sloths, iguanas, toucans, howler monkeys, turtles, lizards! Definitely a great morning and hanging on the beach after with Alex and his friends was super fun. Plus Alex has the best restaurant recommendations!

Kayak tour was just what we hoped it would be! - Our guide, Alex, was awesome!! He was patient and knowledgeable, finding sloths, monkeys and other animals in the jungle we would never have spotted on our own! Bonus: the local resident dog Rosa was a sweetheart, cuddles at no charge!

Great Tour - Highly recommend - We had a great tour with Alex, over the past few weeks I’ve been to most of the major spots on the pacific and la Fortuna / monteverde region, however this was one it favourite. We saw lots of animals, including 6 sloths, and learnt about the local area. Alex was very knowledgable, the tour was excellent and I’d recommend it to anyone in the local area.

Slow start to and excellent experience - We knew we’d start with a small hike and we saw a lot of stuff like sloths, some macaws and a toucan. But it got to the point where my wife said to me, “he’s stalling” and my normally reserved “don’t rock the boat” wife actually asked when we were going to kayak. Again, we saw lots of cool stuff on the hike, so it wasn’t bad. Once we were on the water it was even better. Bats, sloths, howler monkeys and turtles. A slow paddle up the creek was perfect and just enough current down to go without much paddling.
